I loved that these shoes are super cute and responsibly made. Yes, the tongue seems to be too long and is stiff and hurts each time it rubs against your ankle. I have worn them a lot, they do not get softer or more flexible. Still hurts. The other thing is that while it Is a sneaker with a rubber soul, it doesn’t feel like that. There’s absolutely no cushion or shock absorption. The bottoms of my feet always hurt if I wear them while standing or walking for a long time. I thought they would be cute to wear to work where I stand a lot, but it makes me want to put on Nike’s. ?

They look great but… These shoes do run very large. Because there weren’t half sizes I wasn’t able to go down in size as much as I wanted but that isn’t going to be a big deal. As for comfort these are the stiffest shoes I’ve ever tried to break in. As many of the reviews state, the tongue is very sharp against your ankle. Where the shoes bends at your toes is rather painful as well. I should have sent these back for something different but I didn’t. I am trying to wear them some everyday to break them in. I also bend and twist the shoes when not wearing them to help soften the leather. Soooo, if you have tender feet, these are not the shoes for you.

I wanted to love these more than I did. They were comfortable enough, but like others have said the tongue is stiff. I’ve heard they soften up, but I just don’t love the look on my feet. I have wider feet, and they don’t feel narrow for me. I found a similar pair from another company that I like the look of better, so these are going back.

I really like the style of these. The comfort is ok, a little stiff at first, but I'm adjusting. The tongue of the shoe is the most stiff, I wish it were a little more flexible. Overall I like this shoe. If you're looking for a shoe to wear while traveling or doing a lot of walking you might want to pick something else. But it's a good casual shoe to wear while running errands etc.

This pair of shoes are very stylish, but hurt my feet. I hope to break them in since at first the leather is super stiff. But very nice overall.

I saw someone at work wearing these shoes and I had to have them. Super cute and looked so sleek. I didn't know the background of the company but I was pleased to know my money was well spent. Unfortunately they are incredibly uncomfortable. They don't bend at all, the rubber is stiff and there is NO arch support. It's like walking with a plastic shower mat under my soles. If you can find comfort wearing these then it's worth it for the cause and visual display of them.

So other review are right, the tongue is insanely stiff. I know that i'll be able to loosen it by "breaking" it down by some bending and maneuvering. Style-wise these look great - I love the minimal design and distraction. Arch support doesn't really exist, it's comparable to the Adidas level of support. I really wish they had half sizes. I'm a true 7.5 and then 7s felt too large and I'm still deciding if the 6s work or feel too tight.

I wanted to like these so badly, but they were reeeeeeally uncomfortable. So stiff just getting them on I couldn’t imagine sticking with it to fully break them in. Look great though.

I had high hopes for these cool looking sneakers but alas I did not care for them. They were SUPER stiff, the leather seemed cheap, if thats a thing, and I felt like I was walking on cardboard. I NEVER leave reviews by the by. Sorry Veja, but these shoes only cool in how they look.
