This is my second pair of Terrex (the other is the waterproof version) that I purchased to be an all-around, walking shoe. I like the color and design, and the shoes definitely are sturdy for walking/hiking. They do feel a little bulky and heavy (I wore the Adidas Kanadia Trail shoes previously for walking), but I think these will last longer. The fit is true to size, but the arch support is non-existent. I removed the flimsy insole easily and inserted my custom orthotics. I would recommend these shoes more for hiking than everyday walking as a personal preference.

THESE ARE THE GREATEST FITTING SHOES; THE TERREX ENTRY HIKER WITH AN AGRESSIVE BOTTOM SOLE WHICH I NEED FOR WHERE I LIVE ... I ALWAYS THOUGHT MY SIZE WAS AN 8B UNTIL I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL WITH AN ACTUAL PICTURE OF A FOOT THAT TELLS YOU WHAT SIZE YOU ARE AND LOW AND BEHOLD, MY FOOT IS NO LONGER AN 8B BUT WENT UP A SIZE TO 9W; AND THE REASON WAS THAT THE OLDER YOU GET, YOUR ARCH LOWERS MAKING YOUR FOOT LONGER; I WORE A SIZE 8B FOR YEARS UNTIL ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO AND AM NOW 71 YEARS OLD; MY TOES STARTED TO CURL AND THE NAILS OF MY TOES STARTED TO HURT AND IT NEVER DAWNED ON ME THAT MY FOOT SIZE CHANGED DRASTICALLY...& I AM GOING TO PURCHASE THE ORTHOLITE INNER SOLES FOR ARCH SUPPORT...GREATEST SERVICE FROM ZAPPOS FOR TWO PAIRS I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT FROM THEM ... Wore this on a hike for the first time and the ascent was rocky, narrow, and hilly. I didn't need to break in these shoes and they did a great job gripping the ground while climbing uphill and downhill.

These versatile shoes are perfect for quick errand throw-ons and rough and tumble outdoor activities. Even though they are light as a feather they are as rugged as can be.

Just bought these shoes and they were true to size. I did have to break them in a bit. They were a little tough around the ankles when walking downhill. Other than that, they gripped effortlessly when I walked down a muddy trail today. I am usually terrified when walking down this particular trail in my ultra boosts. What a difference! These shoes gripped the mud and I was terrified no more. This is really worth the price and worth the bang for your buck.

The market for these types of shoes are crowded with many brands . These are lightweight yet sturdy with an aggressive tread design. They are also reasonably priced and comfortable.

I just purchased these and went on two hikes so far. They are amazing, comfortable and great for all terrain and weather. I love Adidas, I shop with this company a lot and I am always pleased with the comfort and durability of the footwear and clothing.

The look and fit of these great shoes was amazing! My daughter climbed a mountain in Colorado in these shoes. She loves the support it gave her feet while climbing tough terrain. The only knock and its not that serious was ankle support. That's to be expected in a low top. Nevertheless she loves them!

I read the reviews before I bought these and many people said they ran big.I normally wear a 9 1/2. Idk who was writing these reviews because due to what others said, I went a 1/2 size down. Big mistake! They didn't fit. They were a PERFECT size 9 1/2 when I got the replacement and they're very high quality. We are taking a cross-country trip this summer and I can't wait to wear them on our hikes
