Really Loose Straps!!! I have had an older pair of these and they fit well. The straps on this pair are incredibly long, I can't keep them on without "holding onto them with my toes" when I walk. I would say I have pretty standard feet, but only someone with marshmallow feet would be able to comfortably keep these on.

Love these things! They fit well from day 1. No break-in period. The sole/footbed is super durable with good traction. I've tried so many nice slippas/thongs and these are my fave. I get stinky feet and these are the best at not absorbing the stank. They are great for hiking and they look good around town too. I finally found my go to slippa.

Cool looking, left strap is fine, right strap is loose. I'd debating of keeping them due to the strap issue. They are a little heavy, firm footbed.

These straps were too loose, and the size was too small, so one could hardly get a smaller size and get them to fit.

Fit and size are good. But mine only lasted 6 months The polyester jacquard webbing upper will not last very long. It will fray and break at the toe post. Best to buy a pair with nylon uppers.

I had been wearing Chaco Flip Ecotreads for years which they have now discontinued. This product appears to be the replacement. These are nowhere near as good as the originals. My biggest complaint is the sole is now 2x the thickness. Not a good look. No improvement in comfort or support.

Straps way too loose for me. Had to return it. Why did the change models? I had an old one for years with no problems until the strap finally gave way.

The straps are way, way too long. Shoe hangs a half inch below your foot when you take a step.

I wholeheartedly agree with other reviewers that the straps are too loose. I had hoped that the other reviewers were just abnormal, but they are not. I have been told many times by shoe salesmen of high quality dress shoes that I have a very normal foot. The straps on these flip flops are way to high and loose. I could not keep them on even for a few steps. In my opinion they will not work for anyone with less than high arches. How high is the only question. I will note also that Chaco has a unique sole, more like a quality insert people often put in their shoes for better support, especially for arches. So it may not work for some either.

Fit, style = all good. The comfort level = felt like walking around on wooden planks. There is nothing soft or comfortable about these flip flops - literally felt like I was walking on hard plastic. Some may like that given they do provide support and not flimsy, I found they hurt my low arches. Also, very heavy too! I bet some people love these flip flops, and others just hate them. Worth a try, given the free return policy.

Have owned a pair of Chaco flip flops for years. They recently discontinued the old ones for these. Why?!? The new ones are pretty ugly with the MUCH thicker sole.
