This shoe looks great and the sole has grip like I have never found in a trail shoe, it handles wet steep grass slopes with no loss of traction. I liked this show so much I bought another pair, this time with the goretex layer for waterproofing.

These are great shoes. Adidas has always run 1/2 size smaller. I normally wear an 11 in Nike, Sketchers and Asolo hiking book BUT Adidas I wear a 11 1/2. The shoes are comfortable and have good room in the toe box. I purchased the blue ones and they look sharp. I'm glad I purchased them.

Needed a half size larger than I normally do but after a week I'm very happy with the shoe. They were stiff the first few days but have broken in nicely and are quite comfortable. They're a good look for casual wear and based on my decades of wearing shoes, it is clear to me that these are sturdy shoes that will last a long time. I'm a satisfied customer.

Scored these for $48. Worth every penny. Got them for Disc Golf. They are comfy and light. Fit is true to size it went half a size up for when the feet swell while covering many miles a day. I would Recommend and buy again.

Both walking running and Golf shoes are the best on the market. Just make your shoe last wider

These shoes promise an excellent balance between comfort and support. They're nearly as comfortable as my running shoes... and WAY more supportive. Additionally, the sole (branded Continental... hey, it's German) seems much higher friction than the typical "hiking shoe." I haven't gotten it wet (yet), but it feels a lot like real rubber (almost like climbing shoes, but more likely a thermoplastic elastomer), so I'm hopeful these will deliver better grip than most hiking shoes, too (most are PE or PU & absurdly slippery when wet). Finally, as to sizing, I wear 11-1/2. In sneakers (trainers, runners, whatever you call 'em), I need a 12 (including Asics, my go-to running shoes). In these Terex (my first Adidas shoes, TBH) I needed to go to 13 so my toes didn't hit the end of the shoe get scrunched together (I don't have an otherwise wide foot). I recommend: ORDER UP - at least a half size & quite likely a FULL SIZE. Prior to these shoes, I was a Merrell wearer (various types) for many years of serious hiking. More recently, I've worn out a pair of Columbia Redmonds. I found them more comfortable for daily wear, but at a cost in hiking stability (lots of ankle rolls on rough terrain). Time will tell if these Adidas are the sweet spot of daily comfort & real trail capability, but right-out-of-the-box, they're as comfy & clearly more supportive than the Redmonds I've been wearing, and seem as stable as the various Merrells I used to wear, with a more cushioned footbed than the half dozen of them I tried on last week.

I bought this as more of a winter time, trail, and disc golf shoe, and so far, I've only seriously used it for disc golf, but that application in and of itself also sort of encompasses trail use. When I first put them on, I really appreciated the comfort of the upper part of the shoe, and I was a little concerned at first with the rigid feel of the sole when I walked around a little. After wearing these through 18 holes of disc golf, I can say that once you walk around in them a bit, they don't feel rigid at all, but rather, just a solid platform on which to be standing. The Continental rubber sole is great for traction, even on dusty disc golf tee pads, which can be notoriously slippery. My only knock, and I'll have to keep an eye on this going forward, was that after my round of 18 holes of disc golf, I noticed some hot spots on the outer edges of my big toes. This wasn't noticeable at all while I was playing, which I guess is good, and I don't think you'd have this kind of issue if you're just walking around in them on trails and stuff. In short, I'd recommend these if you're looking for a trail shoe that won't break the bank.

Awesome! These are top quality outdoor sneakers. Adidas never disappoints with cheap material, even the soul is Continental. Perfect balance of style, comfort, flexibility, and protection. By the way, the black on carbon colors are awesome, even nicer in person than the stock images.
I'd also recommend:
Columbia, Keen, Merrell, Nike.

My fear was that the they might not fit but they are true to size and fit perfect. The quality and comfort seem great as well. As these are outdoor shoes, the soles feel thick and robust.

Big thumbs up from me. I wear these on my commute which has a 1 mile walk involved both ways. Very comfortable, light, supportive and shock absorbing. Haven't had to test the traction yet but I think it will be very good.
