Best Chaco ever!

I love Chacos and I was trying to replace my Outcross EVOs, which I use for hiking. I wear out two pairs of those very year on mountain trails, and they don't make them anymore. I loved that the Odyssey has the same strong, supportive footbed. But because the heel strap isn't webbing, it's elastic, the stability in the heel cup isn't sufficient for the activity I bought it for, so I sadly returned them. They're styish, comfortable, and would make a great travel shoe. But the Outcross EVO1s were closer to my needs, that's what I wound up going with.

It looks like a wide toe box but it is not wide enough for my comfort.

I really wanted to love this shoe and would have had it only an adjustable back strap as well! It was just too loose for my narrow ankles. I was really sorry to have to send it back.

Bummer that they do not come in half sizes. I am usually a 7 in Chaco's but these were way too long and wide. Sadly had to send them back, since I really think a 6 is going to be too short.

These are super cute! I was sad I had to send them back due to fit. I was hoping they could replace my keens but I had the same issue as other reviewers with the adjustment. I have narrow feet and unlike the Chaco sandals that are easy to cinch down, these shoes have very limited adjustment space in the strap. I highly recommend if you do not have narrow feet. Hopefully Chaco improves the straps on the next version.

Okay sneaker sandal. Great for that "airy" feeling when doing activities more than an average sneaker, but still has a very sweaty feeling inside since the insole feels like a rubber plastic material and doesn't feel very as breathable as what i expected. Great style and strong sneaker for hard sports though.

I wanted to love this shoe - I've had Chaco sandals and flips for years and they are awesome. These shoes were unfortunately way too wide for my narrow foot, even at the tightest adjustment. For a more average fit foot I'm sure they would be very comfortable - the fabric felt great.

I wear a narrowl (AA) and these were much too wide! Otherwise the length was fine and the arch support fine

The fit was acceptable. The comfort was okay. I must have thin feet because the strap was so long it dragged along the floor! I tried them in the house and my feet sweat badly. Returning.

I have these in the wax iron - size 8, true to size for me - that's what I always wear in Merrell closed-toe shoes. I LOVE them. So I ordered them in the metallic rose color because tan or nude shoes don't always work for me, blush does because of my skin tone. I wanted to love these so bad, but it's just the color is too much. if it was 2 shades lighter it would probably be perfect. So disappointed as I wanted the same show in something more neutral. Some people may love it though. They are feminine, it was just the tone that wasn't right and was too bright for me. Otherwise - find a color you like - the wax iron really does go with everything and BUY these. They are cute, I got lots of compliments - I wore them right out of the box for three days walking in Chicago - ditched my other shoes that trip. I hope Chacos keeps making these in different colors. Easy on/off, strap is great, arch support is awesome, my feet never hurt (and my feet always hurt on long walking trips). The wax iron is an interesting blend of greenish/gray that seems to end up matching whatever you put on!

I really wanted to love these shoes but have come to the conclusion that Chaco's just do not work for my feet. The arches are high and set in so that for my slightly flat feet it hits in an extremely painful way. I put them on, stood up, and said nope can't wear these. It's a shame they are really cute and I loved the color. I would say width and size are average. Thanks so much Zappos for being the best.

I loved the look of these shoes but the arch support was too high and it felt like my foot was rolling on top of it.

I was hoping the strip shown in the photo just above the sole went all the way around to help protect from getting rocks into the shoes while hiking, but alas, it doesn't. Really no better than my old Keens.

Fit and size were good..shoes wear down way too fast

Definitely not the good arch support that the sandals have. Too bad, I'm returning them.

I did not like this shoe. When I got it I contemplated returning it but thought it would eventually grow on me, but it did not. It has a very wide toe box, which is not flattering. I love all my other Chaco sandals very much, but this style and fit gets a 1 star out of 5.
