I suffer from plantar fasciitis and needed a good shoe for the gym and for general walking around in NYC where I live. I tried cross trainers from Nike, Reebok and Puma, and far and away these New Balance sneakers were the best fit and feel. Highly recommended!

This shoe is a little narrower than most sneakers marked "wide width" (this has been noted in many other reviews), but they still accommodated my feet and my full-length orthotic inserts. They are a little hard to skip on quickly because the body of the shoe has a sock-like design. I have to loosen up all the laces in order to get my foot to skip in. My big complaint, though, is about the laces. They untie a lot on me. I live in NYC and am always walking around. These are the only lace-up sneakers that I have yet to figure out how to tie without them untying while walking around. I can tie them intentionally tight knowing they like to come undone, and they still will untie at some point. I could double tie them, but then they look extra stupid because the laces are already kind of bulky.

The fit on this shoe was true to size. I do interval training at OrangeTheory Fitness and these work great from rowing to treadmill. I got the wide as I need a wide foot bed due to a neuroma in my toe and they feel great. I have gotten tons of compliments on the look of these shoes and they neutral enough to wear with everything.

I've been looking for a workout shoe that will provide adequate support without feeling clunky. These are light weight and extremely comfortable! Great for workouts, whether you're doing cardio, weight training or just out on a walk! Would totally consider buying a second pair to have as my backup shoe!

Been doing crossfit for 6 yrs and I coach- I have had multiple pairs of Nano's, Metcons, and NoBulls. I ordered these trainers and haven't looked back. They are SO comfortable. The grips on the sole are amazing, light enough to run in but are also great for lifting. Just need more colors to choose from!

I came across these while looking to replace my old New Balance Minimus trail running shoes. As a Crossfiter, however, I am always on the lookout for a good cross-training show. This fits the bill! It has the sturdiness I need in the gym including great grip, a stronger-upper, and even extra tread on the instep for climbing the ropes. All in all, I love this shoe! I won't be wearing them on long runs, as I agree with others that there's a little too much support for a minimal running shoe. In the gym, however, it serves me well!

I love the New Balance Minimus! They are a great cross training shoe-light enough for box jumps, supportive enough for short runs and grounded enough for lifting! Perfect!

These are very comfy and lightweight. I like the extra comfort around the lower ankle. The colors are very nice too. I am able to wear these shoes while working out, lifting weights and cycling. Great shoes!

This is the perfect crosstraining shoe. They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, and they work extraordinarily well for HIIT activities and/or strength training. I definitely wouldn't run in them; New Balance suggests that they work for short runs, and I wouldn't disagree, so long as "short" runs are less than a mile. I wear them when I do agility and speed work, when I lift, and even when I train clients. Having a crosstraining shoe helps prevent wearing down my running shoes too quickly, and they work much more efficiently than running shoes for indoor activities. The price was entirely worth it. 10/10 would recommend for a friend.

I bought this because I heard the minimus series is great for running- and true to it's words, it's so light and comfy that I enjoy running even more. I also dig the color combination of black and orange and the overall design.

This shoe has provided me with much better traction while lifting than my FreshFoam shoes, which I love, but I was struggling to stay centered on my feet during heavier lifting workouts. The Minimus trainer transitions seamlessly to cardio portions of my workouts on bike, rower, and treadmill, too. I also like the cushioning around the ankle so my heels don't slip.

Most important for me is that it grips my heels for stability when doing my training routines. It does run a little wider in the front.

This shoe is great for the type of workouts I enjoy doing. The only issue I have is it still doesn't help with my flat feet.

I wanted to like these sneakers, but they didn't seem to fit my foot right. I typically am a 7.5 in shoes, but usually wear an 8 in sneakers. The 7.5 was too small, but the 8 was too big!

Wanted to like this shoe as it has the structure and support needed for the gym. Unfortunately, I normally take a 9W and these 9D were just too small and too narrow. I actually checked the box to see if I received the wrong size by mistake, as I have never had a problem with New Balance before. Nope, these must just run small. Nice shoe, but sizing isn’t accurate.

I didn't feel like my foot was well seated and the back of the ankle did not narrow like women's ankles can do. This resulted in too much looseness for use in my exercise class. I do like the little nubs on the show laces which should result in a secure knot.

As far as the length they are great, but its like the insole is to big, my foot doesn't settle down in the shoe,my heel feels like its always coming out.

These sneakers look great and are comfortable. However, for a minimus line, there is too much cushion. The 20v5 trainers were the most comfortable and supportive with less cushion, allowing you to feel more balanced. I don't feel as much contact with the ground in these shoes.

This shoe has a lot of potential in terms of being a good pick for lateral movement and shock absorption for combat, FIT, etc classes. However, if you have a narrow foot, it’s wide in the front and there’s a lot of heel slipping in back. I even wear a full length custom orthotic and that wasn’t enough to help take up extra room. Back to the drawing board for a slim cross trainer.

THis shoe seems to have support for lateral mvt and good shock absorption for a trainer, but it fits quite wide if you have a narrow foot.

I'm looking for the ONLY comfortable shoe I've ever worn: the minimum trail shoe WT10KB2. You don't make it any more! Please make this shoe again!
