These are cute, as cute as the Hunter boots, but like the Hunter boots, I just don't think they are that comfortable. They are stiff with no give so, for me, not comfortable for driving or a lot of walking. I sent them back. I think the UGG rain boots are more comfortable and warmer with the shearling lining.

I know some people marked the size as "felt larger" But given it's a rain boot, and I usually wear heavier socks and tuck my pants into rain boots, I assume they're supposed to have more wiggle room (literally) than fashion boots. I usually wear a 6, I ordered a 6, and with heavy socks and pants tucked in, they are very comfortable. hope that made sense. Very stylish.

I absolutely love these boots. They’re stylish as Hunters but for way cheaper. After reading reviews how Hunter brand started making their boots in China and the quality wasn’t there anymore I decided to give these Joules a try. I am a true 8.5 and seen to order a size down so I bought size 8. They fit perfect. I have huge calves and these were awesome because they have an adjustable strap. I believe they would fit anyone with small calves or large as they expected. I buckle mine on my calves to the third buckle with leggings on and they fit I love it. There’s room if I want the looser or tighter. They’re shiny and very glossy making them look high quality. A great buy. The only thing I’d mention is it says moderate arch support which I have flat feet already and these boots fit perfect to the flat of my foot. So some may need inserts but these are rain boots not sneakers. I will be buying more pairs even though I’m from Cali and it doesn’t rain much.

Overall, a really solid rainboot. I was looking for a new pair after my Hunters of 4+ years developed a hole in them (funny how useless rainboots become once they let water in...). I didn't want to pay the Hunter price this time, since it doesn't rain too much where I live. These fit pretty well and I like that the calf width is adjustable. Though the strap is a little hard to move and fasten, it works well for me and my skinny calves. I will say that my socks always ride down in these, so make sure you wear longer socks or tighter compression/wool ones, whether you're wearing these shoes with pants or a dress.

These are perfect for big calves. I was hunting over and over for a perfect rain boot that comes up just under the knee that will allow me to get my large calves in. I gambled on getting this pair being a first time buyer and am so pleased. I am a true 8.5 with wide feet, nearly flat foot, a shortie with large calves. I purchased a size 8 after reading an answer to a question. They fit perfect. I tried them on with normal sock and a pair of joggers thinking they will run tight but they fit nice and snug with enough room to walk. I don’t plan to wear them withjogger but it leaves options available to layer over layer. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a more affordable pair of rain boots but with high quality material as these shine! I plan on buying a few more pairs as I plan on wearing these for casual rainy days, but I’d like some I wouldn’t mind gardening in. Zappos also had them Priced at a better deal than my favorite shoe store. They shipped in 3 days I’m ecstatic and hope it rains all week!

They are beautiful and appear to be good quality. I run at around a 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the shoes. These were too big. I am returning them. Will try a size 9.
