Perfect right out of the box! Took them out, put them on and took a five mile hike across various terrain. No break-in required, felt like an old friend on my feet. Fit is spot on and the MQM Ace has good firm stability along with plenty of cushioning. I was concerned about the thin tongue, but it feels great. Overall very impressed and pleased with the fit, looks, stability and cushioning of the MQM Ace, and the vivid blue color will turn heads.

I have an older pair of MQM Flex in size 11 and decided to upgrade my new shoes to the MQM Ace. Size 11 MQM Ace is noticeably larger than the Size 11 MQM Flex.

Great fit out of the box. No need to break them in, they were very comfortable on my first hike. I bought these for the grip and they did not disappoint, very stable on steep and loose terrain.

These were actually super comfy right out of the box. I imagine that they would become more comfy as time went in but I was looking for something with more leather on it. However, these were well made, roomy in the toes and sharp looking in person. The green was the best colorway imo.
