I bought these a few months ago for the summer and the shoe looks good and they are comfortable, but they just don't hold up to daily wear. I've worn these fewer than 10 times and they're already starting to fall apart. Disappointing that they're not more durable.

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I wish I had read a review like this before I purchased these shoes. I bought the shoes as a replacement for my Daytona shoes that I really loved. I have owned three pairs of Daytonas and I assumed these would be an upgrade or at least the same quality as the ones I have had before. I've been very disappointed as the leather doesn't break in even after significant wear. Also, the sole is very narrow and it often feels like walking on the bare ground. I still believe in AE products and hope the shoe gets a revamp.

I bought the shoes and they arrived quickly and fit perfectly and they very comfortably.

These black loafers are stylish, soft, and match anything I wear. They're comfortable, easy shoes to slip on.

A versatile springtime shoe. Requires minimal breaking in, excellent warm weather shoe.

Actual sole is smaller than the shoe. It may work for others, but not for a wide foot...

The best shoes I've ever worn. From the leather bottoms protected by small patches of tread, to the softness of the suede, to the flexible accommodation for an extra wide toe-box. They are the M series BMW of shoes.

This shoe replaces my I90 driving shoe. This is a great shoe. Excellent construction. Very comfortable.

I ordered a pair of the Super Sport Driver in 11D (Grey Suede) and a pair of the Santiago Driving Loafer in 11EEE (Grey Suede). My true size is closer to an 11E. The Santiago was a bit loose and I inserted an orthotic which snugged it up. I found the Super Sport to be the more comfortable of the two and though it looked a bit sleeker on the foot. I have several pair of AE dress shoes and I thought the quality of both these shoes were of the same high quality that I have experienced with all my AE shoes.I could have been happy with either of these two models, but the the fact that the Super Sport was half price, was my deciding factor.

Fantastic. Fit true to size, extremely nice leather both inside and out. These are legitimate driving shoes that pass as a casual loafer. Not sure about all this "too narrow" or "too long" etc. The purpose is simple: narrow, light sole and rounded heel. Clutch feel is excellent and since the shoe actually fits and lacks excess side shape your feet can easily access narrow footwell/pedal boxes. The sole has held up very well. Comfortable as well. If you want a driver and not just a country club loafer this is it.

These shoes are what my husband wants for Christmas or a Birthday, he just loves the quality, the color options, the fit, and even the smell of the leather! I highly would recommend this brand.

These shoes have an improved sole that gives you comfort. Great choice.

I bought these a few years back and absolutely abused them. Stood up to the abuse and the new pair are fan-freakin-tastic.

There are a lot of reviews noting how tight/narrow these shoes are when you take them out of the box. Those reviews are not wrong, and when I first got them I was on the fence about returning them because they were so tight on my feet. I loved the look of them, and haven't seen a similar design with other drivers, so decided to keep them and hope that with some wear, they would stretch out to a more reasonable fit. I am so glad I made that decision. It has only been a couple wears, but I've used shoe trees in between to really put pressure on the problem areas to help break them in. They now feel like they're custom molded to my feet. On top of that, the color is beautiful, the style is incredible, and the material is super high quality as you'd expect from AE, whereas a lot of drivers will use sub-par materials for the more unstructured shoe. Only other thing to note, there is no traditional rubber bit on the heel that you see on a lot of drivers. Gives it a bit cleaner of a look, but not something that I realized when purchasing.

These shoes are great. It did take some time to break them in. Very classy looking house shoes
