I've purchased these in the past with a grip bottom. The new ones feel like plastic and very slippery. So disappointed Why did you change the bottom

4 wks and summer is fading.,, Wanted these while I can still wear them for summer!

I bought these shoes at the end of August. I wore them for the rest of the summer which for our area only goes to the end of September. The heel started to give away by the end of the year. Now, I started trying to wear them again and the heel is completely gone, and surface of the shoe where the ball of the feet are wearing out already. This is very disappointing especially when at most they were worn for 3 months. I stand all day at bank so it shouldn't have worn out that fast

I splurge with a new pair of comfortable shoes for the summer. They were very comfy and great at first. But after a month they started breaking down. I didn't even get a summer out of them. Very disappointed as I'm not over weight to have increased breakdown. I don't buy for myself often, so was upset with quality of product. Hopefully this can bring awareness to their quality control center and bring up the standard of there Merrell brand.

I had a similar pair for a couple of years and loved (!) them. Alas the current product had a manufacturing flaw- the material at the top of the sole bunched up creating a ridge that was bothering my foot and creating a small blister (thus overall 1 star). Having said that, before the problem developed, I wore the sandals out of the box for a few miles and they felt very comfortable (thus 5 stars for comfort ). I gotten in touch with the company and Merrell is sending me a replacement pair - I hope it will work out better.

I have bunions. Toe ring sandals are often styled to cover them, which is nice because bunions are unsightly. Thought these shoes would do the job, ordered 2 pairs. However, it turns out these shoes kind of showcase the bunions, which stick right out, looking even worse than ever. Sorry for that because I have always found Merrell to be a good brand of shoe. Had to return them, the process was easy. Sure wish the style was a bit different.

Shoes very slick as was reviewed by others. Found that I could use a cheese grater to rough up bottoms to prevent fall. Shoes not as comfortable.

I just received these new sandals today and am so sad. They look identical to the Vesper sandal from a couple years ago that I loved, but they have about 1/3 the cushion of the vesper. They look cute and fit perfectly to size, but feel paper thin and hard on the bottom of my feet. Please Merrell, bring back some of your better cushioned sandals!
