Other reviews mentioned the sole being slick. I have hardwood and tile floors, and when I put them on and walked, they were a bit slippery. I walked out on my concrete patio where it had been raining. They weren’t slippery at all. After walking around the house with them for a couple of hours, they were no longer slick. I have a size 10 foot, and these fit just right. No issues.

Beware! The bottom of these sandals are very slippery on smooth floors! Not at all like my previous Merrell sandals which had a grippier bottom sole, the bottom of these feel cheap and plastic. I think they are downright dangerous. Although they are styled attractively, felt true to size and relatively comfortable, I am returning them.

Yes, the soles felt a little slippery at first on my hardwood floor, but I took a short walk on the sidewalk and now they’re fine. They are comfortable to wear, and I like the style.

I have been wearing these sandals for 2 weeks. I’ve washed my tile, Pergo floors, gotten my sandals wet from the outside hose and I have never had a slipping problems with these sandals. I have tried sliding my shoe on my wet floors and no problem. I either received different shoes or walk weird. I think I will still order another pair. They fit me well and are comfortable. I also like the style for this older lady. I am curious why others are having problems with sliding.

I have been wearing Merrell sandals for 20 years. I have tried other sandals but not one compared. I read the reviews about the souls of these being slippery and I agree. They felt more like shoe bottoms. That being said, I do not feel unsafe with these and I adore the style! I have blue and purple spider veins all over the top of one foot. As usual, my Merrells cover it up. These are so very cute! Out of the box and on my feet. No break in period. I am 59 have bad knees, one recent total knee replacement. My knees love Merrell!

I recently purchased a black pair of these and loved them so I ordered a Navy pair. I noticed that some reviewers said the soles were very slippery, and others said that it was not a problem. Why the difference? Well my black pair had black soles and did not slip at all. My navy pair had tan soles and are very slippery. Even though the soles look the same they are made of different material. I hope I can rough up the soles on the navy pair to solve the slippage problem.

I love thongs but my bunions are getting a bit unseemly and these sandals are the perfect, super-comfy cover-up I was hoping to find.

Merrell has let me down on these sandals. The bottoms are smooth which makes them slippery. The the foot bed is hard and not cushioned enough for me. I have returned them.

I loved both Ari Wrap and Muri wrap because they hide ugly bunions and they are INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE. The problem is that the sole has no grab whatsoever and I nearly slipped and fell on my wood floor. PLEASE MAKE THE SAME STYLE WITH A SOLE THAT GRIPS. I will buy them in a second because they are so perfect in every other way.

These fit great and it helps that they are a little bit adjustable since my left foot is wider than my right. The one listed as "dusty olive" looks in the picture like it is tan with olive accents. It's actually all olive. No tan. It's still cute and I kept it but I think the tan with olive accent would have gone with more outfits. I really like Merrill sandals and rarely buy a different brand.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable - a combination that is so hard to find! It is true that initially, the bottom is a bit slick but a simple few steps on the sidewalk, garage floor, etc., takes care of that.

These were a little wider overall than I usually wear. the fit was good, the sole/base was wide. The shoes are super comfortable and I am still wearing them 2 seasons later. Definitely recommend for an all day summer sandal.
