The Sandal has a long strap running from the front to the ankle strap on the inside foot which hold my foot properly given my "drop foot" problem. The insole is made of soft foam keeping my foot securely in place and the foam prevents blisters on my toes caused by my "drop foot". The heal has a semi aggressive tread for good traction. I have purchased 3 of these in various colors.

True to size. Medium width fit my husbands Flintstone feet. Very well made and not clunky. Replacing his $120 Eccos and he likes these more!

My feet are normally wide anyway, plus I have problems with my feet swelling and shoes suddenly too small. These sandals, with adjustable straps, solve that problem beautifully.

I'm returning these for one problem even though there are several things to like. First, I'm a woman who wears a size 9 to 9.5, but with some active sandals, I get a better fit across the ball of my foot with a men's 7. The foot bed was comfortable and there were no irritating areas from the straps anywhere on my foot - comfortable right out of the box. The reason for return is the inside section of the heel tends to drop just a bit from the outer section and this puts an odd strain on my knees. If the heel area was level, I would certainly keep these. As far as looks, especially for a woman, they aren't anything special, but I was hoping to wear these for comfort around the house (PF means I have to wear shoes with decent arch support all the time) and very casual errands.

The material is excellent. My previous pair of Nunn Bush 3-strap sandals were purchased around 20 years ago, and are still in use. Just so you don't think they have an easy time of it, I uploaded a picture of part of my yard. These survivor sandals, still in quite presentable condition, are what motivated me to buy a second pair, this time in brown. The first pair is black. They are SO comfy! And they hang on to your feet over all terrain.

Nunn Bush is not famous for its sandals. I live in hazardous rocky terrain. Hot. Sandals are my thing. The Nunn Bush sandals take the punishment and just keep going. Comfortable as the pillows on my bed. That’s why I keep buying them.

Only wore for a few days, so far they feel great. Very comfortable with great support for a sandal. Got them to wear to and from the pool as they are easier to put on after showing, and needed rear strap for safety while driving.

Ummmm wow these rock for $40.... I was looking for another simple open sandal for around the yard. I was familiar with Nunn Bush and have another pair of their dress shoes so I took the chance on these and am thinking these are too good for the yard. They are really comfortable and the footbed is very soft. I am curious to see how long it takes for that footbed to breakdown but for now they are amazing. The sandal is well made and the color is a nice deep brown. If you are looking for an open toed sandal then look no further as these Nunn Bush kicks are well worth the $40 paid. Super Happy!!!

This is my first pair of sandals in probably more than 10 years. So with the worst feet to size I didn't know where to start. I chose these because of the 3 adjustable straps. I originally ordered a 9 double EE, and they were to big. I called you exchange them and 24 hours later I had the replacements, one size smaller and they are perfect!!! Very comfortable!! I'm looking so forward to wearing my new sandals this summer instead of sweaty old sneakers... And I'm totally amazed at the service and how the fo an exchange without charging more money, allowing me 2 weeks to return the ones too big.... I will definitely be a return customer with Zappos!!!

Good 2 strap adjust makes them safe to drive with. (Nobody smart would drive a car wearing loose sandals, right?) Thin-ish soles mean I wouldn't walk miles in them, but good value good looking.

I was trying to replace my old sandals, which were worn out. The straps on the Rio Bravo were like those on my old one, so I ordered the Rio Bravo. I wasn't disappointed when the sandals arrived. The straps were perfect and the insole was very comfortable. I was shopping for a black sandal, but only brown was available at the time. The brown sandal will be just fine.

These are comfortable, light weight, and have a bottom tread that really grips. The straps allow them to be comfortably attached, and yet hold them in place with almost no play - I so dislike flip-flops, or lose fitting sandals! The size feels a bit large, and the straps are too long - they overhang some, and I might need to trim them. If they fit a bit better, and the straps weren't so long I'd give them a 5 star rating. Also, at 40% off these were a great value, I highly recommend at that price (about $40).

Love these. I wear a brace on one foot, so these Sandler adjust to fit.

I have got this more than once for my spouse. He finds it comfortable and breathing in nature. The fit is great too.

I purchased these for my husband. He's NEVER worn sandals, especially in public! But his feet were getting uncomfortably hot in regular fleecy house slippers, so he wanted to give these a try. He's a convert to these sandals -- at least in the comfort of our own home.

Very comfortable and attractive. Only minor nit is the straps are a little long and stick out
