I got these for kayaking and after reading reviews I ordered a half size smaller than what I normally wear. I wear a 9.5 but got the 9 and they fit perfect. They are super comfy with arch support and work great on the water. I definitely recommend

These are awesome! So soft and nice. They run big! So order down. They work great for walking in water and in tide pools at beach. They grip great on rocks, wash sand out. I bought 4 if my teens these. ( wish they came in big kids size!) then my entire family could have them. They are well made. Most water shoes hurt and give blisters. These feel awesome! Can wear them all day. No problem. Thank you for making the best shoes on the planet. This is the last company who makes quality, long lasting shoes. I bought extras as to ensure i have good shoes.

The hydro Mocs are great at the beach. They are easy to walk in, do great along the ocean's edge and clean up quite easily! The colors are fantastic. I bought two pairs because they looked great online!

These are worn best with the strap pulled to the front, as otherwise, it is really tough to get them on. I still have to pull out the heel in order to get my foot in. I ordered a 9, and I usually wear a 9.5 in Merrells. They fit fine. It got colder after the sandals came, so I only wore them about a day around the house, but I got no blisters or sore spots. One squeaked a lot, for some reason, which was annoying. That eventually worked its way out. They are flexible, and yet supportive. I wonder if the plastic will make my feet sweat? No answer to that, yet. I think I could wear them outside, and did, a bit.

Love the shoe but it is a very wide shoe

I love this shoe! It is comfortable and versatile with good support. If I had one thing to change, it would be to move the bottom row of drainage holes up just a tad. I often get debris through them and have to remove and dump the shoe. I did have to go a half size down for a better fit and it is perfect. I had seen this recommended in prior reviews and it worked for me. I love the color but would also like to see more options and designs, Thanks so much!

I bought the hydro moc water shoes for going to the lake and riding jet ski, it is perfect, and very comfortable. I wear a size 8 in shoes, sandals, etc. so I ordered the hydro moc in a size 8 also but they are made a little big!

These shoes are very comfortable with great arch support. I had worn some cheap yard shoes and wound up with heel spurs which are very painful. I had to have some good yard shoes and I knew Merrell wouldn't let me down and they did not. I put these on and walked around and my feet were singing with joy! I purchased my husband a pair and me 2 more pair.

These shoes are more comfortable than I expected. I call them my chemo shoes because I purchased them just for that reason. Easy to put on and take off. Very flexible. Supportive enough for navigation to/from chemo and in no way bulky. Breezy so when my feet get hot, I have air flow. I can't wait to wear them on the beach when chemo is done and life finds a new norm. Thank you, Merrell!!

The hydro has become my daily shoe. Excellent shock absorption. Comfort, support and flex are top notch. I shattered my ankle in 8th grade. Severe pain all the time. These have reduced my pain to near nothing!!!! Im so happy i found them.

I have terrible feet problems ! Last summer I went to Africa and Italy and for a solid month I wore these shoes! I hiked, swam, walked and danced in them! My feet never hurt which was amazing! I plan to use them for running now as no other pair of expensive runners has worked for me! I can't say enough good about them! MY FEET LOVE THEM,

These fit better than crocs, are breathable and when worn with thick socks, serve as good gardening shoes. Seems pricey for molded, squishy plastic, but what the heck.

Odd having to order 1 size down, size 7 would have to be too big on me though. I love it, super comfy as I use this as a house slipper - for now. We shall see how this performs when I go kayaking at the Emerald Cave in Las Vegas.

I have owned Merrell shoes previously, but never tried the water shoes. These are the most comfortable water shoes I've ever tried. Seriously. They're a little tricky to get on my feet with the strap in the back, but they fit perfectly, they don't rub anywhere on my feet, and they have amazing arch support. I wear them when I go to physical therapy, where they have an underwater treadmill machine. The shoes are great for my feet and I recommend them highly.

I'd love to get an " incentive " for this review because I want another pair! I've owned 25+ pair of Merrell over the last 17 years. Lately some styles I had to go up to a size 9 from my solid 8.5. Was frustrating because Merrell was always perfect w sizing for me. Recommendations on this shoe was size down. I hesitated because lately I was sizing up...but I got the 8 and it is PERFECT. And the comfort is exquisite. Would love the pink pair but the blue strap is a turn off. So if you'd like to gift me the black pair that would be awesome LOL.

I received these as a gift. They work very well in my shallow water running class! Great support and protection. They don't slip on the bottom of the pool. Easy to get on. I usually wear a 7.5. These are perfect in a 7.

This shoe is very comfortable. Although it is a water shoe, I use it for wearing around the house. I do wish it came in half sizes since my toes just brush the front. One thing that helped was to rotate the strap to the front over the instep. When it is in the back, it pushes my foot forward. With it in the front, it keeps my foot from going too far forward. The shoe still stays on without a problem.

Although usually a size 8-8.5, the 6 was a perfect fit - still room for socks. Perfect for kayaking - good heel protection & light weight for bike touring (wear off bike).

For rocky beach walking and water entry, these amphibian- looking slip-ons are great. Ordered the smaller size (an 8 rather than 9 for 8.5) and they fit well and stay on. The arch support makes them much more comfortable than other, flatter-soled varieties. Easy to rinse off and keep clean. My bunion-related issues are not exacerbated by the construction. Very important! So good, I bought a pair for my husband, too, and he is equally pleased.

Was not sure when I ordered these how often I would wear them, however, now it seems I never take them off. Wear them for all my outdoor activities and garden duties.

My husband and I each purchased these shoes. They are very comfortable but do fit big. They aren't just for water. We will definitely purchase another pair just in a smaller size.

I wear an 8 1/2 wide in most althetic shoes and sandals, and often have a hard time finding "easy" shoes that are also supportive (and don't look orthopedic). I tried these on in a size 8 just in case they fit, and not only did they fit great, but it felt like they were doing the walking for me! The arch is in just the right place, and they feel very stable. The heel strap allows me to adjust the tension exactly where I need it to keep them secure. You may feel like an extra in Aquaman, but you're buying shoes for the functionality anyway.

Now days, I'm wearing more 10s than 9s, but still get a 9 every so often. After reading other reviews, I decided to err on the small side & ordered a 9. It was perfect! The shoe is comfortable with tons of toe room, plenty of built-in support, & will be great to wear on our flyfishing trips. Can also see myself wearing them around the house & making a dash outside. Hmmm...maybe there is another color in my future!
