Son tried on 8 pairs of shorts only kept these and another pair - he liked the fit and color (blue) He's 23 and slender these looked and felt good to him.

This is my 4th purchase of the prana shorts. The other three I ordered in the 12” inseam and this one I ordered the 10”. I must say, I love the shorts and I wear them literally everyday innthr Summer regardless of the activity I’m doing. I do wish prana would come up with an 11” inseam. The 12” seems too long and hangs well below my knee. The 10” hits just slightly too high up my leg in my opinion. Regardless, I’ll continue wearing both lengths as these shorts are amazing! Felt true to size. I’m 6’1, 215 lbs and ordered the 36” waste.

Prana Zion shorts are my all-time favorites... Unfortunately, Prana is changing the Zion line of shorts and I'm not a fan of the new Zion II's. Rushed to buy these before they'd be gone forever.

Ggreat material. Soft and comfortable and yet it keeps its shape after much stretching during various exercises and yet look elegant. Great shorts!

True to size

Didn't think I would like the color but tried anyway. Turns out, it is okay, something different. Looks good with just a white shirt. 5'9" - bought a 30". Fit perfect. Length good.

Wow, these are really nice shorts, fit is perfect. My husband was shocked I spent so much (they were on sale), but then was ready to admit when he tried them on that they were worth the price. The fabric looks and feels nice, he says they are very comfortable, and the built in belt is a great touch. I bought two pair for him, and am glad I did, they are now his favorites.

I have three pairs of the stretch zion pants and absolutely love them. They have replaced jeans as my best all around pants, including my three pairs of Prana jeans. I live in Oregon and these pants are great hiking/bushwhacking pants. Nothing sticks to them including blackberry canes! Put on a nice shirt or sweater and go out to dinner with them. I just purchased the shorts and while I have not had a chance to wear them extensively, they are exactly like the pants only shorter! I am optimistic. I will be buying more.

The benchmark for shorts. These are by far the best fitting, best looking shorts I've bought in a LONG time. I has hesitant to a pair since they're a little more expensive. After trying them on I bought a second pair in a different color without any hesitation.

I've been buying these shorts for my 18 year old son for the past three years. His school requires them to wear khaki colored shorts and pants. They are the only shorts he wears. So comfortable and easy to wash, quick hang dry, and wear. Worth the price.

I literally received the shorts in the mail today and within five minutes of having them on, I went back online and ordered a second and third pair in different colors. I was a bit skeptical reading about the fabric and thought it might be too stretchy and pictured some type of yoga short for men (if that's possible). Once I got them on, it was very clear that the stretch was not anywhere near a yoga stretch and was simply perfect to make the shorts so comfortable. The outer layer is tough and I'm excited to have some decent shirts to hike in and not worry about tearing. I now wear them essentially anyday it's nice outside. For reference, I'm 6'1" and 220 lbs. and the 36" waste and 12" inseam are exactly what I was hoping. Actually, an 11" inseam would be perfect, but whatever, close enough!

Bought these for my husband. They are great on slimmer men since the cinch at the waist help the fit without making them gathered. Love the product

These are great shorts. They fit great. Wash great. Look good. They are true to size.

Beware! The sizing of the current Stretch Zion short DOES NOT match the Stretch Zion Pant. As a point of reference: I'm 5'11", 185 pounds, and by nearly all sizing charts for any brand, I should be a "32" waist….However, because I have wider hips/fuller butt relative to my frame, I often struggle to find pants/shorts that fit well. I had purchased the size "Medium" Stretch Zion short approximately 2 years ago and loved them! I loved them so much that I sought out the Stretch Zion pants the next year. By this time, the sizing for the pant had switched from S/M/L to waist sizes. In my experience, the waist size "33" was a perfect match to my "Medium" shorts (in case you were interested, I go with 34 length). In need of a pair of black pants and shorts, I ordered one of each in size "33" waist, only to discover that the fit of the shorts does not match the fit of the pants, proving to fit much more snug in the waist, hips, and thighs, essentially being more like a size "32". I exchanged the shorts for a size "34", and they are identical in fit to the size "33" pant. Other than the sizing discrpency, these are still great pants/shorts. I hope this helps.

These shorts are optimally functional, durable, and stylish. There are only a few brands that make 12" shorts geared for the outdoors, and this is one my favorites. I'm 6' 1" and they come to the top of my knee. The new sizing is better targeted to your exact size than the old S/M/L scheme. Highly recommend.
