I love Converse sneakers and grew up wearing Chuck Taylors. As I have aged my feet have become wider... NO! This makes buying shoes more difficult as comfort and style are not the pinnacle of importance for wide shoes. I recently became a fan of One Star shoes. They fit my feet far better than chucks and keep their form better being wrapped around my feet. I recently bought the black suede versions of this particular group of shoes. I loved them so much that when the opportunity arose for me to buy the red ones from Zappos I couldn't resist. Now I have the black and red versions of this series and couldn't be more happy. Well, I guess I could if I had a Citron pair, but unfortunately they are no longer in stock for my size. The downside to these shoes are the suede is rough and catches my dog's hairs like a magnet. I bought a sticky roller specifically for these shoes. As bothersome as cleaning them are, I still love these shoes.

The style and color is just awesome. It's what brought my attention to them. I love the yellow color. They're a suede texture which I also like and think is unique to Converse. The only downside of that is it is kind of 'flecking' or 'fluffing' little bits of yellow but I think over time that will decrease and maybe stop completely. I think it's just because they're new. You also get two sets of laces - a solid black - and a yellow with black wording on it. They're flashy and I've gotten several comments on them. They have a cushy insole which is comfortable.

Awesome shoes. I am into retro sneakers and these One Star's were a great add to my collection. They look and feel fantastic. The fit is definitely a little long.....maybe a half size. Width is okay. I might just grab another pair in a different color.

These are a great looking tennis shoe and the thicker sole provides a good cushion. They run true to size - very comfortable and look sharp. It's a home run again Zappos!

It's difficult to find purple men's shoes, so I was pleased to find these. They fit well, and the color is rich, deep purple! I may purchase a backup pair.

Had a pair of these as a kid and forgot how comfortable they were. Love the one star design, and the buttery soft suede. Look great in the dark charcoal.

Runs a little big but great.
