I ordered 1/2 size larger for little more room for my toes. I love them sop comfortable, and light.

This is a good casual boot for around town, but nothing super durable for mountain wear. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Looks EVA midsole is super comfortable Nice blue laces and a pair of dark laces included Length and width acceptable for the size High-quality leather Excellent Vibram sole material and pattern Excellent lace hardware Super light Cons: There's a very, VERY abrasive nylon material right at the top of the cuff by the achilles. Are you serious? This will either wear a hole in all of your tall socks or wear a hole in your achilles. It was essentially a dealbreaker for me. The sole is super thin. Not even 1/4". Even with a nice Vibram compound, it won't last and you'll end up walking on EVA from the midsole. Why not make the outsole a full 1/4"? Pretty soft forefoot. Not a lot of protection there. No big deal, but it's more like an athletic shoe than a hiking boot. There's a vertical seam on the medial side of the boot. This will leak water. The EVA is copious but will definitely start to compress immediately and wrinkle. It'll turn into a pancake. Overall, it's a nice boot if you can handle the cons.

nice fit, stylish, light weight, excellent quality leather , ankle high shoe. Bought for ankle support, and firm sole to wear at work in hospital. Sort of a hybrid running shoe, high top. great support except arch( i have high arches), so added aftermarket arch support inserts, and perfect. not highly cushioned, which was what i was looking for. Would not wear for off trail hiking, or construction work. Vibram sole. Happy with purchase and price.

they fit well ,they are very comfortable for walking long distance with extra thick replacement inner soles. I wear size 15W, I have not been out in wet weather with them so I have no report on the waterproof issue.

Fantastic hiking boot! Well worth the money to protect your feet from the elements! I got them for remote hiking trails in the Sierra nevadas! The grip is the most amazing part, sticks like super glue! Can pretty much walk anywhere with the awesome boots! If you get the non water proof boots try to keep as dry as possible or take off for river crossings

I must say that I have never had a shoe that fits this well, They are exceptionally comfortable to the point where I could wear them every day. I ordered the black and i continue to receive compliments on this shoe. I only hope that if i need another pair that they will be available. I am now ordering the olive pair today.

a very light weight boot. nice looking for knocking around the city or woods. not a real tuff hiking boot for trails with rocks.

Half size Larger in my opinion. Would have ordered the smaller one though unfortunately they did not have one available. Other than that, excellent customer service from ZAPPOS as always!

Cheaply made and they look like fake leather!!
