Love the shoes. They are very cool and comfortable. I have a rather wide foot but the shoes are amply wide.

A bit more effort (but still easy) required to get these shoes on and off versus Crocs, but their comfort more than compensates for the slight additional effort. They are my new favorite shoes!

I love these water shoes. They have enough cush and arch support to wear them for casuals for summer. I like crocs but always wear socks because of the little nubs. These are smooth and soft feel good all day! I like the high heel and the strap which looks good either way. They're awesome!

Run wide

I purchased these to use for water crossings and camp shoes while backpacking. I was attracted to them because of their light weight and because they were more of a full shoe than a sandal. Other than around the yard, house and on errands, I've had them out on two backpacking trips so far. The second trip really put them to the test. They definitely rose to the occasion. Upon arriving at the trail head, I was horrified to discover I had left my hiking boots at home. I usually drive to the trail in my Hydro Mocs and then put my boots on once I get there. So this time without my boots, I just kept my mocs on, cinched up my 35lbs pack and hit the trail. They performed like a champ for the entire 16 mile round trip in the Olympic National Forest. Only two minor things I noticed were they were slippery on watery mud and I had to be a little careful when on pointy rocks. However, both were very manageable. At the end of the trip, they were a bit dirty but none worse for the wear. The Merrell Hydro Moc will always be among my backpacking gear!

Comfortable and breathable, easily washable as well. These are great gardening shoe! Easy on/off make they good for a quick trip out or dog walk as well.

Perfect for the beach next week and water adventures!!

I ordered these (sight unseen) as Merrell shoes have a wide, boxy toesomething I need as I have wide forefoot, a high arch, and a high instep. I ordered a 7 (my "true" size is a 7.5 wide) and they fit great. They have a larger toe volume than Croc's. If you have ever wanted a featherweight shoe, buy these. I just came back from a two-week vacation on MN's Gunflint Trail, where I gave them a good workout walking on trails and gravel roads. While I had another pair of Merrell's along, I ended up wearing these exclusively. As others have commented, I too had some rubbing of my Achilles tendon, something I eliminated by rotating the strap 90 from behind my heel to over my instep.

This shoe is perfect : extremely comfortable, waterproof, good looking , fun to wear ! My new footwear for fishing and going on the boat and great colors too

This was a nice shoe. It runs larger than your standard shoe size.

Got to be one of the most comfortable and roomy lightweight & vented foot covering ever... Made even BETTER if you get some Merrell low cut tab socks!

I bought these for my dad and he loves them. Confirm they run big (but was what he wanted/needed) but holds steady due to the back strap. Definitely recommend.

Better than crocs ! Overall look and feel way better One note they are bigger in size than you expect I'm size 11 ordered a 9. Fit perfect.

The Hydro Mocs run 1/2 size small and fit snugly to your feet. This is my 3rd pair as I couldn't resist the various colors. I have worn them to the beach, kayaking, doing yard work and around town. Great comfort in such an affordable shoe.

Summary: They fit well if you size down. They rinse easy. They look good. And they're hard to beat for the price. First off, I took the advice I read from other reviewers about sizing down. I was a little concerned that a whole size down would be a problem since I'm so used to wearing a size 11 in everything. But the reviews were right. A whole size down is perfect...unless you plan on wearing them with socks. But that would be counter productive for a beach shoe. But actually, I feel that they'd still fit fine even with socks. I got these as beach beaters. Something that can handle rocky northeastern beaches without worrying about getting a bunch of inevitable sand in my shoe. Just tried them out at the beach just now and they're exactly what I was hoping for. The inside does get a little slippery once wet, but that's to be expected. And of course fine sand will get in them as well. But they rinse easy. And that's what I wanted. And they look good to me. While I probably won't wear them as casual shoes, they are stylish for beach beaters and better than flip flops by a large margin.

Saw an ad for these and decided to give these a chance after wearing out a competitors rubber clog. After a long day in metatarsal boots, I look forward to slipping these on. They're extremely comfortable, lightweight, drain well when I get in water, and not bulky.

The men's hydro moc shoes are very comfortable but my husband usually wears a size 11 and we found they were larger than expected so we needed to go down a size in them other than that we love them !

These shoes are great! I purchased them because I have been a long time Merrell shoe lover and formerly wore Crocs for my outside chores. These Merrells have way more support than Crocs and are very comfortable like you would expect from the Merrell brand. They are perfect because you can hose them off and they still look great!
