Of all of the shoes I have ever owned from Altra this is by far my least favorite. After being spoiled with the cushioning in lone peaks and escalates, the hard plastic feeling sole has been causing me much foot pain when completing bootcamp type workouts. They are comfortable for everyday walking but not for he gym. After doing a minute of jumping jacks it feels like my feet are going to fall off. It could use a little something extra though I'm not sure what exactly but the pain is unbearable.

I use these shoes for working 12hr shifts at the hospital. They are comfortable except for the plastic part on the right shoe has indented and now rubs against the tip of my toe which is bothersome.

Had to get my knees put back together and learn to walk all over again. These shoes were suggested by my orthopedic doc. I dont walk alot. But the sides of the shoes are cracked and ripping where it bends. Less then 4 months old.

The tie loops across the tongue are bands that restrict the shoe from opening wide enough to accommodate a foot with a high instep causing uncomfortable pressure on the instep.
