Customer Reviews Outdoor Research Ferrosi Skort

I love this skort for sitting around, etc, but for walking it's really annoying because the leggings ride up when I'm walking! I don't know if this is because I bought/have the wrong size or if the leggings would ride up regardless. When I bought the skort it was the correct size but now it's too big; the leggings still ride up though. I guess if the leggings were tighter maybe this wouldn't be an issue. I bought the skort in 2018 or 2019, so I guess it's the older version not the current one.

I have two of the older versions that I bought when I was a smaller size (a 5'8" 24 year old size 6) and my legs looked great in the short length. However, now that I've aged a few years, I was hoping to find this year's model in a longer length. Just a few inches even! I like the material and have browsed the Wadi Rum skirt (which is the right length for me) but I was holding out for a longer Ferrosi. I really hope that OR can make two versions of this skirt - one the mini (which is super cute and stylish) and one a bit longer for when you don't necessarily want your butt hanging out in public. Compared to other hiking skirts I've tried, this one is a little flimsy, but it is stylish. I'd also like to see OR look at the functionality of this skirt for people of larger sizes, as the spandex rides up sometimes which can lead thigh chafing (hellooo body glide!). Overall I really want to like this skirt, and I would love it with a few upgrades.

I have two of the older, longer (and it is by no means long) version of this skort and give it 5 stars...it's awesome!! I tried on the current version and it was way too short for me = 3 stars. I can see that some may like a shorter skort, but I won't buy it again and would love a new one! Could you please offer the original length in addition to the new length? It is such a great piece you would have many happy customers!

I've had 4 of these skorts over the past few years. Decided to add a new color this year. Noticed all the "little" changes. Disappointed. I would have paid more to keep it the same.

Seriously LOVED this skort for past 4 years, having 14 in my wardrobe. Bought new 2019 and so bummed. It's 2.5 inches SHORTER and now not acceptable length for bending over even with the skort as a river guide, traveling, dining out with boots, you name it. This is so disappointing.

Way Too Short, at least offer the old and the new

The skirt bunches up around the waist. Not a keeper. Really bummed, as I was really excited about living in this.

What happened? I bought this skirt a few summers ago and loved it so much, I decided to get another one in a black, same size. But now the size is smaller, the side zipper pocket has been removed, and the front button is no longer a handy double snap, either. Why all the sudden changes?
