Great rain jacket, usually wear a large, but got a medium in this jacket. I'm 5'10" and 175lbs.

Great raincoat for the cost! Fits snug, so if you were planning on layering with this coat I would size up. Only used this coat for some short distance winter runs. The armpit air vents are handy to keep cool and prevent over heating, all the while keeping the wind out.

Perfect for those Northwest rainy days. It is a women's fit so you are not swimming in it and it is a flattering fit. Color scheme is really neat as well.

This is a great light-weight shell. I always layer over a fleece or vest for coziness, but have always stayed dry. I also appreciate the length as it fits nicely over the bum. Great price and great product.

If you take this jacket for what it is, it is wonderful. Get your normal size because this seems to want to be layered and a little large, which is exactly how I like my rain jackets. I got this for rain around town so that I can keep my intense rain jacket nice for back country trips.

I walk my two pups daily. I live in the PNW which means many walks in the rain. This jacket has already proven itself a champion for keeping dry while still having freedom of movement that not all rain jackets provide. You can tell Outdoor Research really knows how to make a good quality product not only from the material but also the fit! I would highly recommend this jacket!

Wore for 45 minutes in steady rain and stayed dry- I appreciated the feel of the fabric (it makes a little noise with movement- but not much). My favorite part is the hood- the different adjustment points were easy to use and worked well to form the hood to my head so that I could both see and keep wind and water out.
Jacket comes down all the way over my hips (I'm 5'7")- my only critique is that it would really benefit from a 2 way zipper! The jacket is slick and slid up as I walked - really wish all jacket zippers were 2 way for ventilation and fit and comfort.

I live in CA so I haven't had but 1 opportunity to use this. It worked perfectly well for the light rain that I was hiking in.

Love this jacket and would have given it a five star rating but this jacket is really designed for a women who is pretty tall. The XL has super long sleeves and yet the hip area is cut really slim. Please consider more options making Petite/Short options in your women's products.

This is my first OR purchase ever. I have a couple other items that were gifted to me and love the quality. I ordered the medium Apollo rain jacket in blackberry, it's exactly the color as advertised and the quality is top notch. I take this thing with me everywhere in case of rain, which in Washington, could be anytime. The true test was my sons double header baseball game which is was practically monsooning, this thing kept my sweatshirt under it COMPLETELY DRY, after standing out in the rain and wind for almost 4 hours. I was definitely surprised and obviously pleased that the rain didn't saturate any part of this jacket. This will be perfect for our upcoming hike at paradise and our ocean trips. If I were to purchase this again, I may size down, the medium has room for a sweater or zip up under it, and the sleeves are long enough which is a hard find anymore, but if I'm not wearing a sweater under I would like it a little more snug, but overall this is an absolute great jacket!

This is a good basic rain jacket. It will keep you dry during the downpours. It is lightweight and will pack up well. Perfect for city walking and light hiking. The underarm vents are very nice and help to provide cooling.
Cons -- My previous OR jacket had an adjustable hood, this one doesn't. The hood feels short, and doesn't provide a ton of protection against the rain. I use a hat in addition to the hood to keep the rain off my face. I also noticed when I put the hood up it feels like the jacket pulls -- the stretch version of the Apollo probably takes care of that. I ordered online thus didn't get to try the difference between each.
But overall, I'm happy with this jacket and would recommend it to anyone needing a basic rain jacket.

Everyday rain jacket. I bought this jacket to replace an old rain jacket. It has taped seems, a nice silhouette and a lovely color. My only complaint is that it is a bit long and tight in the hips so it does not blouse like I wished to shed water, however, I am happy with my purchase.

Really pleased with this jacket! Very waterproof but still feels breathable. A great top layer for unpredictable West Coast hiking. The only cons are that it wasn't quite as form-fitting as I was hoping for (Looks a bit boxy), and its slightly tight around the hips.

The product is small, it fits in its own pocket. Pretty, comfortable, and, I hope, durable. I didn't have the chance to use it during a hike in the rain but so far so good.

I've taken this jacket out for a multi-night hiking trip, to a wedding, and around many water-side fires. For hiking it was great cause the pit zips that I consider a must have worked great! And folding into itself for packing up is wonderful. At the beach wedding it broke the wind well and I like the look overall (I bought the blue colour). The one issue I have has with it is that there is mesh inside the pocket and the velcro has already tore into it after only having it a month. If it had solid panel interior for the pockets or no velcro it would get a 5 star rating but I assume I'll be patching up those pockets before the summer is through.
