I wear them almost everywhere. They are comfortable and durable, yet soft and airy. Nice make!! Great purchase. Looking to purchase second pair.

I loved my original ferrosi's still wear them often, and was horribly sad when I found out the design had changed (looking at you Voodoo pants). However these are great, the updated cut and fit is great, same super awesome fabric, etc. thigh pocket is a lacking a little but doesn't see much use beyond my wallet.
I do miss the old ankle draws, but the added waist draw string was a nice addition.
I like them so much I bought 3 more pairs

Excellent comfort and great looks.
The breathability of these pants make them perfect for me since I always run a little warmer.
Seem to be durable and well made on initial contact.

Been an avid hiker for many years and tried many different brands. These have been the best so far. Stretchy in the right places. Comfy so you feel like you don't have much on.

I have flipped the script and use these as a fly fishing guide. Regular length pants hold water at the cuff when you step in and our of a drift boat. These do not. The second great advantage is they are above boot top height when wearing waders. Also, they dry quickly.

I am 6'2" tall and 170LBS. The 32" waist and 34" inseam fit me well. The inside drawstring is great; ensuring a snug fit on my waist while not having to wear a belt. Pants have served me well for light exercise like hiking and are comfortable casual wear around the house and in the neighborhood. Would definitely buy another pair.

Bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them. The tie at the waist and elastic around the bottom of the pants leg are really nice touches that he makes use of quite a bit. Lightweight but durable. Fit as expected. They look like hiking pants so they're not everyday wear for my partner, but any excuse to wear them he throws them on

Best hiking pants I've tried so far. Fabric is great--very stretchy, cool, comfortable; a little bit protective as an outer layer; more water resistant than you might think. Durability unknown, but it looks more resistant to tears than the very light non-stretch nylon alternatives. Due to the stretch, the pants accommodate a wide range of motion. Pockets are just barely large enough, well-placed, and a pouch rather than patch design. You can walk comfortably with gloved hands in pockets. The pouch is half mesh, and half the same material as the pants. The mesh is on the outside, which would seem to keep your hands from warming up as well when in the pockets, and your thighs from cooling down as well when you are overheated. One zipper pocket on the thigh is large enough for a phone (although I would never carry a phone in that vulnerable spot.) Perfect secure storage for car keys.
The fit is pretty comfortable. I wish they were a bit baggier in the thighs and knees--that would make them even cooler and more comfortable in hot sweaty conditions, and the freedom of movement even better with layers underneath. And I wish they were a little higher-waisted, so I could pull them up to the narrowest part of my waist and cinch them down, without pulling them uncomfortably tight into my crotch. That would make them function better with pack hipbelts, and just generally be more comfortable. (But at least they are better in this respect than most pants these days. All the manufacturers seem to be on some style kick influenced by hip-hugger skinny jeans or something. I consider this an unflattering style, myself, but there is no accounting for taste. More importantly, it is uncomfortable, and it is just crazy to design tight low cut pants for active wear.)
Elastic band is hidden in the cuffs. No fastener or adjustment mechanism, but if you pull the elastic out and tie an overhand knot you can narrow the cuffs to keep them up out of the mud. Could probably retrofit a cordlock.

I wear these pants every day for every activity. They're extremely lightweight, flexible, and breathable. I often find my legs overheating in long pants, especially while hiking.

I brought these on a trip across Utah and Arizona mid August. These were by far my favorite pants to hike in due to the sun protection mixed with extreme breathability.
Compared to the Prana stretch zions:
- These are thinner/more breathable, and feel more stretchy and comfortable for hiking
- These fit slightly larger around the waist. I returned my initial pair which were 32 waist (my size for the pranas) and opted for 31x30, which fit well but I still definitely need to tie the waist band. I'm 5'10, 165lbs.
- Since these are thinner, they feel less durable. I haven't noticed an issues after decent usage for a few months, but I generally opt against these for climbing, or if I know a hike will
be through brambles etc.
- Prana wins for integrated belt, it's more convenient than tying these
- These win for the pocket- it's easy to use with one hand and feels less bulky than the Prana's
- It has elastic at the cuffs rather than buttons (and the buttons on my prana's broke, so I guess these are winning for now?), but I wish they had something to hold the elastic when you tighten it
Overall I wouldn't say these are the most versatile pants due to their thinness, but for hiking in the heat they're my go to.

I was in 106 degree weather camping for 3 days and these kept me cool and dry. They are light, tough, and quite honestly the best pants I've ever worn.

I used these on a summer through hike and loved them. Cool enough for hot days and love the stretch! Sizing is on, I'm typically around a 33, and the 33's fit me perfect.

The ferrosi pant is by far my favorite piece of gear for the summer into early fall. The stretch, breathability, and how fast they dry are all big bonuses. The only trade off is that they are a little susceptible to abrasion from tough terrain. They also tend to stretch after three days in the bush. My recommendation is to size one down if you are in between sizes.

I got these for hunting in the early season when its really hot outside, these are stretchy and comfortable. The trimmer fit is extremely nice and is what I wanted. I am very picky when it comes to leg opening and how slim they are, as when hunting I don't like any fabric to touch or rub. These are almost slim enough at the ankle (without using the drawstring) that they dont touch, and the fabric is very quiet already.
I have a very fit body type ,6'1 170 lbs, and the 32/32 fit perfectly.

I was frustrated with the fit and lack of sizing choices in the Women's Ferrosi pants, and the men's work great. They have a slimmer leg and you can dial in the size and length that's right for you, which is not an option in the women's.

Very comfortable pant even on warmer days because of great breathability. Only wish the leg opening at the bottom was a bit smaller.

These pants are great! They're so breathable you almost forget you're wearing them. They are great for camping & hiking and are just un-technical looking enough to be able to wear them out for dinner when long pants are preferable. We will see how they hold up durability-wise but they've been great so far.

I bought the Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants for an upcoming AT section hike. I already owned the Voodoo pants and an older pair of Ferrosi pants. They newer design didn't disappoint. These pants are very breathable, super comfortable on long hikes, and dry very quickly. I am almost 6'2" and 180lbs. I purchased the 34 waist. They fit me perfectly

These pants are the lightest I've ever worn. Living in the desert, these give good protection from the sun while still being light and airy. Good combo

The fit of the pants was perfect. The size guide is very true to life. The pants are semi loose fit which was one of the main attractions I was looking for. It suits my needs very well as a Search and Rescue responder.

Great fitting pants with great performance. The more slim fit works well even though I'm more stalky. Loving the fit and material.
