I wear this pants for everything. Great as casual wear or with crampons on a hot day.

I live in Florida and light-weight pants are a necessity. These are comfortable and durable. Very comfortable for daily use or backcountry.

These are very breathable lightweight pants, great for hiking in warm weather. I used to have to wear a belt with them, but the new ones have a waist tie cord that makes them fit perfect. Can you please put one in the shorts now? Also, can you add a light tan color?

Great lightweight and moisture wicking pant. DWR works great but they are still fresh. Usually I'm a 33-34 waist but had to get a 32 as they fit loose and stretch a bit after wear. Love the drawstring in the legs for quick conversions.

These pants are perfect for hot weather. They are airy, light, and have just the right amount of stretch. I bought them for field work in the forest. I need protection from mosquitoes, sun, light brush, ticks, and poison ivy but without sweating buckets like I would from cotton or canvas pants. The sizing is dead on waist and inseam wise, so don't worry about sizing up like in some OR products. There is plenty of room in the leg but it's not cargo pant baggy either. I own the OR equinox line in shorts and these Ferrosi are lighter and more breathable than those. I like the equinox too so that's not a slight but just letting you know in case you were wondering.

Great pants. They honestly make you feel colder because they are so breathable. They are super light weight and don't even feel like you're wearing anything.

These fit great! I use them for pretty much any time I am not at work. (They are too light weight to handle the barbed wire and thorn bushes that I deal with) If it weren't for the occupational hazards, they would be the only pants I wear. Great pockets too!

Just spent 3 days back country camping and wore the Ferrosi pants the whole time. They dried super quick after I fell in a creek, and were just light enough for trecking through the Badlands in July.

This is my second pair of Ferrosi hiking pants. The first pair survived 4 years of hard use in the Yukon before starting to fail. These pants are amazing in mixed weather conditions--rain, wind, sun, maybe some snow snow all at the same time and these pants could care less. The new pair are a nice gentle upgrade from my previous ones--OR seems to tinker with but not radically alter this design over the past 4-5 years?

This is my 3rd pair of Ferrosi pants 'cause they're just that great. I'm bummed this version lost the drawstring at the bottom, but the cut is a little closer to the ankle so it works out. Still would rather have the drawstring if I could choose. Older Ferrosi pants tended to pill up on the thighs and so far these ones seem better at avoiding that. The first day I wore 'em I spilled some water on 'em in the kitchen, literally ALL the water repelled off. I'm 5'9" and could have maaaybe gone with one more inch on the length, but it works and the fit is great.

I love the update to the fit of the Ferossi Pants! They're essential for hitting Pacific Northwest trails. They're a little more tapered than older models, and the bulky drawstring friction adapters at the hem are gone. The addition of a drawstring at the waist is clutch as well.

Bought these for hiking. Amazingly lightweight and comfortable, so much so that you almost forget you're wearing them. I've not had them too long yet, but so far so good. No damage or problems and I don't shy away from the bush. If these end up having decent durability I'll definitely be buying some more.

Love these pants, it's my second pair. I like how the water beads off of them after crossing a river or creek.

Awesome pants. I took the to hike in the mountains. No limits to movements, feels very comfortable. Water and wind proof. But you will feel cold if it is a cold day. Unfortunately Amber color is sold out.

Absolutely love these. Wore them in high 70s and never once felt like I was overheating. I hike the Superior Hiking Trail a lot so there's many ticks and overgrowth. But these kept me protected.

Great light weight pant. I just use these for hiking and they keep me cool on the hot days while being durable enough to withstand any minor scrapes from trees etc.
