Love these shoes! Great for hiking, very comfortable and stylish. Have an older pair. Unfortunately, I was in between sizes so I had to return.

I have gone through 4 pairs of these. My all time favorite trail shoe in my closet. 2-3 season. Fair weather shoe great hikes that involve water, but are not wet hikes. Great trail feel, with perfect cushion. Amaze balls traction with the super grip soles. Breathable and fantastic on road/dirt combo runs, boulder jumping and trails with water crossings. Shoes squeeze out in just a few steps and 'dry' pretty quickly on the trail. I pair with all wool socks and never get cold feet. My favorite trail runner and scrambler shoe. Not a lot of support when you carry weight, so venture slowly into long hikes under load if you have previously used a high support boot. But I love them even for 2-3 day trips. I can't wait until they get more "normal" colors in stock....I am in need of replacements! Working on my last 2 pairs! I also wish they made this shoe, drop, sole, fit with a non-mesh outer so I had a winter runner.

I bought these to be a trail/climbing shoe and they've been awesome. Obviously I can't boulder or free climb in them, but their grip and tight fit made it easy to scramble up and down hills, rocks, trails, sand dunes, and more. The cushioning and padding also hold up great. After a full day of trekking around my heels are always still comfortable and I suffer very little fatigue in my arches and soles.

Excellent grip and support. I have slightly wide feet and they fit well. After reading these reviews, I decided to take a pair 0.5 size over and they fit perfect. Thanks, great quality!

I don't often write product reviews, but these shoes are one of the few exceptions. From running (trail and road) to backpacking, climbing approaches and scrambling, and everything in between, these are my go-to shoes. I am on my third pair and (after trying dozens of others) have vowed to never buy another trail runner because these are simply the best. I wish the mesh top held up a bit longer, but that could just attest to how much I use them. Highly recommend for any and all activities!

These are amazingly lightweight and a perfect balanced fit for trail hiking in Arizona. I have slightly narrow feet (can wear regular width with no problems) and these are my ideal shoe. I buy 2 at once in fear they will change this style!

These are great looking shoes! I wear trail running shoes because they are a little stiffer than running shoes. These fit me perfectly. I have a narrow foot, so they may not fit those with a wide foot. I normally wear a 7 1/2 street shoe, but 8-8 1/2 hiking boot/trail shoe. I ordered the 40 and they fit. The 39.5 was too short. My previous shoe was Nike Wildhorse, which I liked before they changed the style. My narrow footed friend recommended La Sportiva. I am glad she did.

Amazing - reviewing at 6 months after purchase. Lasting way longer than my Asics (thank god at least one company still makes good quality shoes) and really great for narrow feat. I ordered 1.5 sizes up. I find them more supportive for running (I'm an over pronator) than Asics 2000 and Nike stability shoes. They're a bit heavy but frankly I think people over obsess about shoe weight - what matters is that they last more than 3 months... I like the skinny laces too and the lace pattern. These are the trainers I've been looking for for the past 5 years when I became disappointed with Asics. Please, please keep making the shoe and don't make it horrible and cheap construction like other brands. I also really like the colour. I liked these so much I convinced my husband to buy a pair (we both have narrow feet). He is in the military and runs every day - he's tried many running shoes over the past decade and he ended up buying a second pair after buying these. My advice for US and UK markets is that you need to make larger men's sizes because they run very small and a 46 was the equivalent to mens US 11.

I had always hiked in boots, but got blisters and wanted to transition to trail running. Since i got these, I have been amazed. I love them for hiking and running. I have done everything from 3 miles of road running to a one day Presidential Traverse (20+ miles, 9,000 ft elevation) in these. I love them.

I'm wearing my first pair of the Bushido II, but previously wore through two pairs of the older style. These are the best trail running, hiking, and backpacking shoes I've ever owned. I've used them for street running, too. I have narrow feet and high arches and I've never had a better fit. Customer for life!

LOVE these shoes. No slipping on loose gravel on an incline, no pain from roots/rocks. They are incredibly comfortable and fit well. I ordered the Akyra GTX as well (same size) and these just felt better on my feet. I think I found my new favorite brand.

I have narrow feet and it is VERY difficult to find shoes that fit. I often have to sacrifice body mechanics and performance, doing all sorts of things (insoles, socks, etc,) to get something that won't leave me rolling side to side in my shoes. It has always been a compromise. The Bushido II changed all of that. The fit is secure without being cramped, the tongue doesn't shift, the grip doesn't quit, and just enough cushioning to be comfortable but not so much to diminish feel or strength.

I'm on my fourth pair of Bushido's and these shoes are my favorite for mountain running. The sticky rubber and stiff sole give me ultimate control on technical terrain, and with how lightweight they are, I feel like I'm running on a cloud.

I adore these shoes. In fact, I'm planning on purchasing another pair because I'm worried any changes to newer models will make these not as great as they are now. I mountaineer and hike and was experiencing lots of knee pain with my hiking boots. I switched to these trail runners and my knee pain is gone, yet they are as grippy as my approach shoes made for mountaineering. In fact, I now wear them to do my workouts in the gym. Basically, I just wear the sh*t out of them because they are the best shoes ever. I normally wear a 9 in an athletic shoe but these ran small so a 9.5 fit like a 9. Also, I'm on the narrow side of a B width and these shoes seem to be made more narrow than other trail runners I've tried on, so they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing these shoes for years for trail running. They are my favorites and several of my friends and family have switched to these as well. They work especially well on slick/steep terrain due to excellent traction. My feet are narrow and I wear custom orthotics in the shoes and they fit well in them with the insole, as well.

This is my absolute favorite trail runner but i have always found the sizing confusing. I ordered a 39 even though I have a 7.5 which is usually a Euro 38 or even 37. The 39 is perfect and this is my third pair, but it's been a learning curve. I love the low height and drop- very stable on terrain and great grip on rocky surfaces. I like the overall low profile. The only trail runner I wear these days.

Fits extremely well and the traction is incredible (especially on the descent). Excellent in the snow, quite warm and water resistant.

I have been running my entire life, and I haven't ever used a better shoe. I absolutely love them. They're a huge improvement from the Bushidos - rock plate and sticker rubber were excellent changes. There are no issues with the amount of cushioning from the rock plate, either. Loop at the back is handy. They also are incredibly durable. The low heel-to-toe drop also keeps the feet, knees, and back happy.

These shoes are the best for dry days on steep terrain when you're wanting to work on powering up and getting down fast. It has a stiff sole that isn't super great on roads but perfect for mountains. I usually don't use them for really long runs but have run up to 50 miles in this shoe without any problems at all. Great grip!
