Got to test these out in an unconventional way: by performing Shakespeare outdoors in 95 degree heat, but they held up. They breathe as well as expect (and as well as my merino wool), and dry super quickly. I did a sink wash test and a couple hours later they were fully dry. They felt right on the body and I appreciate the longer inseam so there's no ride up (which always happens to me). I was worried that the material feels too thin, but once it's on it makes no difference. Unfortunately I have nothing to say on longevity and durability, but if you've been looking at travel/outdoor underwear, this is a sound investment (especially over exofficio).

I've probably a dozen pair! While on the road guiding I can get a couple days outta them as they don't retain smells at all! Super comfy and cool with no bulkiness!

I have these in a medium and ordered in a small and find they fit me better and give better support. Like the fit and feel and they are very lightweight and breathable

I tend to wear this like a base layer in very hot weather and under my riding gear. I got the lime-yellow because safety is important to me : ) And I have all the other colors already.

The boxer briefs are super breathable, the design is good, it holds everything in place nicely. No riding or chafing when hiking. The fit was just a little bit smaller than I was expecting, compared to other boxer briefs.

Picked up a pair before trekking three days in the White Mountains in July. Stayed cool, dry, and not-smelly. Snug around the thighs but breathes a bit more in the crotch, which I like. Seams don't bother. Lightweight. Good stuff!

I've been wearing Ex Officio for about 10 years. I've also worn Duluth Trading Company, but have been disappointed with their durability. I've tried several other brands, including Under Armour, and been disappointed. These blow Ex Officio away! These are absolutely the best underwear I have ever owned. I highly recommend them!

These briefs breathe extremely well and are my primary go to shorts for hiking and casual wear and I also love the color selection.

These are awesome boxer briefs. I've used them under tights for long runs in the summer or winter or when hiking/backpacking. My only complaint is that they sit a little high. That might also be because I'm in-between a little big for small, but not big enough for medium. I still wear and love them, but a slightly longer version would be welcomed.

To me, the mark of quality underwear is the ability to forget it's there after I put it on in the morning. These hit all my needs: boxer brief fit that never rides up, dries as fast as possible (I sweat like a madman), and has easy pit stop access. Complete comfort. My new favorite, replacing exofficio briefs on long backcountry hikes. Same fabric as the echo t shirts

So I have tried Patagonia underwear in the same category and these blow them out, the price is better and the fly area keeps everyone together. I bought a pair and then I bought 4 more and I'm not done there! I'm 6'2" 180lbs and a large fits perfect.

I have now purchased 4 pairs of these boxer briefs as they are the first "containment" layer I grab regardless of the situation. I actually time laundry rotation based upon whether or not I have a clean pair ready to go. The fabric feels silky, not synthetic and the fit around thigh and waist is perfect, never tight or constricting. Also, I'm not sure how OR does it but the fabric never gets stanky even after 6 hours plus of backcountry hut hiking and if you happen to get a little swamp booty just spin overhead for 30 seconds and they are miraculously dry. I highly recommend.

I climb, I ski, I work for the Golf Channel as a hand held camera man to support my habits. I've never ever bought gear as good as OR. Men's boxer set a new standard. Don't order one pair, order 4

Got 2 pair of these 2 months into my last deployment. They will be replacing my patagucci ones. Hands down, the best underwear and material I've ever experienced. Bought an Echo T to run in I love the material so much. Now, I'm trying to order a bunch more but they're out of stock! C'mon! And more colors please so I can have an excuse to get some more...

Of all the OR products I own (and love), I am actually sitting down to write a review on undies. These shorts are the most comfortable shorts I own. I have bought high end silk, synthetic, cotton, blends...you name it I own it. I have tried a wide range of products from a wide range of companies and none breath better, feel better on me or recover better from a long arduous day. I am returning these due to a small hole that appeared, but even with this inconvenience I have to assume OR will do what they always do and send me a defect free product in replacement. Yes, I said I am sending them back, and yes I gave them the rare 5 star review. I actually am returning one pair and having them send me 3 if that is any indication of how comfortable and functional I find these shorts to be.

This is a good cross over boxer. Works well in technical settings (hiking, athletics, etc.) and an an everyday undergarment. Most can't do this so I usually have two sets of boxers I keep around the house. So these are worth the extra money for me because i can use them for multiple purposes.
