These are my third pair of the Bolder X. I work outdoors and use the for work and pleasure (hiking). They are very comfortable! The sole does wear over time and I'd hope it would last a bit longer. The traditional style laces work well for me. The toe rubber covering bonding is usually the first thing to give. The front is good, the sides with the most movement do break open.
A few more color choices would be nice!
Overall still an excellent boot!

I liked how this shoe looked. However it was much narrower and shorter than I thought it should be.

I brought these on three big bikepacking trips this last year. They grip to the pedals extremely well, when needing to do a hike a bike they hold up great in the mountains, desert, and even in wet conditions! Also, they ar the ugliest looking shoes so not horrible to walk around town in while traveling.
The only thing I dislike, is that they do not have them in a 2E wide option....

I love Sportiva and these are great shoes EXCEPT for the lace design which fails quickly if you jam any cracks and is a nightmare to try and repair. Bring back the Exum!

I wanted to like these shoes. But they were just too stiff for an approach shoe. The toe box seems quite small and overall just not the right shoe for me.

I am a trad climber, hunter, hiker and Mountain Safety Officer. I work all day, most days at 11,000 ft. This is my fourth pair of La Sportiva climbing/mountaineering shoe. If you have a wide foot, beware. I wear a solid size 10.5+ but in a D or wide width. La Sportivas have a narrow last. My second pair of Boulder X did not fair better than the first. Split leather at the inner foot on both. Would love to share pictures. I resoled both with vibram in the first season. Laces don't last. I replaced both pairs with 3mm perlon laces. I own the Trango S evo which has been very durable except for the laces. The fit also is narrow. Not good for me. I also own a pair of rock shoes by LS that delaminated during a climb at J-Tree. I have found Asolos are a better fit because of a wider last and they also carry wide sizes. Sorry LS, I tried. Let me know when you add a wide last, more durable soles and laces and a glue that doesn't fail/delam mid route. Safety D.
