Shoe seems very well put together, however run small. I like la sportiva because they are capable of fitting my narrow feet, but usually require sizing up 0.5 or 1.0 sizes from usual for length. (Typically a 10.5 or 11= la sportiva 11-12). Fits my left foot great but right foot is a half size larger and it jams my 4th and 5th toes when flexing. Also heel pocket is less tight than is normal.

I bought this pair of boots before winter set in. I'm so glad I did they kept my feet dryer during some heavy storms. They have been one of my favorite brands and fit a narrow foot well. Any shoe that wears out the sole before the upper is a great boot.

This boot is a good fit for me. I am between sizes 8 1/2 and 9 and this boot at 8 1/2 + is more like an 8 3/4 which is the perfect length for me. Width is also perfect and materials and construction are top notch. This is the second pair I have ordered. I wanted to be sure I had a spare pair in case they were discontinued.

Im 63 years old. I've backpacked all my adult life. I was a believer in Vasque for the most part until they sent their manufacturing to China - that ended that. I picked up my first pair of Pyramid GTX and all I can say is wow, little or no break in, fit true to size and the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. Just got through using them with snowshoes as well and what a great combination. I wore them around the house last night until about 2200 and my wife finally convinced me to take them off....they can become my everyday boot really easy - can't enough about this product. I think I should buy and additional pair just to put back....

What a difference having excellent hiking shoes. Hard to imagine how these can be both so lightweight and so stable. I'm not historically sure-footed, especially going downhill, and these greatly improve my confidence and speed. They felt self-propelled when i first tried them on, required no break-in and continue to be a durable joy.

I now have 4 pairs of these boots. They have so much support and toe room and require no breaking in. Plus they are truly waterproof and have great traction on the trails. I put 2 pairs away for future use just in case they quit making this boot. I have a moderately wide foot and these are perfect. Love love love!!!!!

I've had these boots for a few months now and they are still holding up great! The waterproof leather outside makes for a good design

This is my first La Sportiva hiking boot, but lots of experience with other brands including several Scarpa, Solomon, Merrill hiking boots. When I was in the Swiss Alps last year, I saw a number of hikers using these light La Sportivas, so gave them a try. I took the boots out yesterday on a 5-mile trek up a difficult-rated trail during May in the Aspen, CO area. The trail had all the mixed conditions - dirt, rocks, snow, steepness, and mud. Other than the lightness, which is certainly a pleasure, I was impressed by the climbing-worthiness of the boots on rock and spring snow, especially on the downhill. In this regard they performed better than my past heavier alpine hiking boots. Quite comfortable, too - typically I can't wait to change out of my boots immediately after a difficult hike, but with these there was no need.

Got these boots for hiking. Ended up liking them so much I started wearing them to work every day and they have outlasted any pair of danners or redwings. I do landscaping and construction. With huge wieght savings. I'm on here ordering another pair for hiking.

I tend to be very critical when it comes to shoes. These have been awesome! Great Vibram soles. Well worth the price

I love this boot because it's roomy and predictable. Stable in the ankles and accommodating for my wider foot. I'm a 10.5 US Mens and I found the 44.5 to fit very nicely.

The most comfortable boot. Very cushy! I paired them with a set of Superfeet.
Great traction. Keeps my feet very cool.

I love these boots. Due to arthritis I have trouble with anything tight on the top of my feet and was dreading having to get boots for an upcoming trip. These are soft on the top but still waterproof. I tried them out in the rain walking through puddles. My feet stayed warm and dry. Amazing boots

The Pyramid GTX is my favorite warm-weather hiking boot. They are super comfy right out of the box, and have maintained their comfort without ever feeling too soft. They provide excellent breathability on hot days. Even when it's hot and sunny here in CO, you often hike through snow melt and swampy meadows in the spring and summer, and these boot's waterproofness have never failed. The grip is secure on all but the most technical terrain, and they are so light on my feet! Summertime funtime!

They feel like they are just a part of my feet. Very comfortable. I can feel the breathability, yet effectively waterproof. A very good choice since I am an Appalachian Trail maintainer here in Damascus, VA.

I have been searching for a new pair of hiking boots to replace my VERY well worn, 6yo Keen Targhees. Based on many reviews, I decided to order a half size larger and that was just about perfect. With that “upsize” the width hugged the sides of my feet snugly while giving my toe just enough extra room to not hit on downhills. Definitely feel a a bit higher off the ground than my Keens, but still very stable and better protection from rocks on the trail. This is probably the most “breathable” waterproof boot on the market, but that does not mean it breathes well or as well as non-waterproof shoes/boots. The Gortex technology definitely gives the hot air someplace to escape too (which is good) but your feet still get very warm in these on hot days. Regardless, for me, this was a good compromise for 3-season (not summer) hiking in AZ... I will be using my trail runners (non waterproof) for summer hiking! Very happy so far... look forward to next backpacking trip.

Pros: Very elegant looking hiking shoes.
Cons: Required a lot of break-in. I only used them for 3-4 hours hikes for dozen of hikes before I could use them for a full day hike.
Another issue is the shock absorbing is limited to three tiny gray area at the heels, but the rest of the black absorbing area is hard as stone and does not do its job, so Another restriction to full day or multi day hike is pain developed in the knees.

Very comfortable boot, would not reccomend if living or hiking in canyoncountry. The sole is extremely slippery on slick rock, which if you live and hike in Southeast Utah the majority of the trails have a good amount of slick rock hiking. I'm sure they are great for hiking around the mountains.

I bought the boots in 2021, hike on dry weather, got excited.
Went to Prague and walked for 1 hour on a ..let's say 50l/m2 rain and got so wet.
Goretex?? Totally dissappinted!

I've only had these one and a half months and there are weird lumps forming on the inside sole of the left boot. The rubber of the outer sole is also coming off the sides and bottom of the boots in a couple places. The rubber toe protector is also coming apart, and the tread has worn significantly. If you need a reliable, long-lasting boot, look elsewhere.
