I bought this show for an upcoming trip where there will be hiking along beaches and landings off of boats onto beaches. I haven't road tested them yet but they fit and feel comfortable. By the way when I measure my feet and got the size based on the size chart, it was too big. I got a size 8 and ended up returning and got a 7 which fits still a bit on the loose side. I wear and 8 in most normal sneakers so may be best to size down. The 3 stars is because I didn't get the shoe that is in their photo. The first time i bought them from a small sporting goods store and thought it might have been a mistake, but figured the mother company wouldn't make the same error. Nope. Expected a grey and moss green shoe as shown on their website. Instead got a mint green and mostly white shoe. Not that it should affect function, but it kinda matters that a reputable company accurately represent what they are selling.

I have had four pairs of your shoes and get many compliments. They are comfortable and great in every way except one! The ties get little holes where my ties are and the rest of the shoes aren't worn out a bit. I think the ties need to be build better? I keep my nails trimmed and wear light socks! Any advice!!!??? I have recommended your shoes to anyone who compliments me on them which is frequent. Afraid to buy more if this continues. Hoping to hear from you!!!
