This is the best hat that you can ever buy. The best analogy I can come up with is that it feels like you are wearing an AC unit on your head. Your head instantly feels cool when you wear this compared to any other regular hat. Perfect for hot humid weather and hiking outside in the sun.

first it is most comfortable ballcap I've worn. second I work nights and the sun is like the enemy sapping my energy after work. This hat helps me sit out on my back porch without shade and keep me cool or doing day errands with out feeling like I'm melting. Columbia is now my go to for temp regulating clothing.

I'm a cap snob... this is my " go to" for caps outside. I love the material as I forget I'm wearing it. Doesn't overheat my head like the other caps out ther. An added plus is that it fits my larger head size. I buy several at a time in case I lose or forget one.

I can't believe I have been wearing a regular cotton hat all these years! This hat is so light weight! It is perfect for all activities outdoors, from holding my hair back while in the pool with my little one to keeping my sweating head cool during an uphill hike. It dries super fast, washes easily, compacts easily and feels like I'm wearing nothing on my head. It's also stylish enough to wear out and about! I love this hat and can't believe I didn't get one sooner!

I love that I can get a matching hat to go with my other Columbia jacket and fleece. I did notice that the cap is a little loose fitting on top but it is adjustable to hold it on my head. I would like it to be a bit smaller and shorter in the future. The edges come right down to my ears.

The color of the dress is beautiful it's a green blue The fit is just right it hangs. Is great for a day at Disney World which can be very hot. I have the zero cap so I'm ready for a fun day at Disney

This cap is the finest cap style warm weather hat I have ever seen. Durable, cool, fits all head sizes, and wicks moisture away in al flash. I use it for golf and when its really warm, I soak the hat and wear wet. Cools like a charm. I've bought several extras so I'll have them if Columbia decides to make a style change or eliminate this cap (which would be insane). MikeBu

I love this hat. I wear it for running, fishing, or just hanging out to block the sun. It is great quality and feel. Light but sturdy. Highly recommend!

bought this cap in black at first and the wife loved it.. just recently bought it in white and she was super excited when it came in.. now i see there are 3 new colors so i guess xmas is coming early this year...

OK, I have more than a few hats. But NONE of them do what this one does: Helps keep me cool. With the added bonus of an SPF of 30+ it does well in keeping the rays off the grays. It's light, comfortable, and even kinda stylish if you are into that. I think this would be a great addition to anyone's collection!

Top Quality! A must buy product

I have (4) of these caps. Two I have had for over 8 years. You can't hurt them! I have worn them for everything from a night out thru work, hiking/camping and fishing. Just throw it in the washer or hand-wash and hang it up. It dries fast and looks like the day you bought it. Great fabric, sun and water repellent won't fade. Also has a thin plastic brim that holds its shape. Very well made with a great design. Keep new and different colors coming! Thanks

This hat fits the perfect niche I was looking for functional in that it blocks the sun, dries quick, and perfect weight. It's heavy enough to feel but not so heavy that it's constantly being felt. It's like a part of my body.

This had fits very well. It is nice and light and allows air to get to my head. It worked great the first day I put it on and was out in the sun all day for my child's school activity. I chose the gray color and with it on it felt great in the direct sun. There was no problem with odor or adjustment. I also wore the had the next day for a 5-mile trail run. It kept the sun out of my eyes and my head nice and cool as if I was not wearing a hat. My head size runs larger than average and it felt snug enough that it did not blow off in a breeze but was not overtight where it left a mark. I would recommend this hat to anyone who wants a nice, lightweight sun protection but also wants to have a breathable material close to their scalp.

This hat is lightweight, easy to pack for weekend away of hiking. I like the Velcro strap for adjustment.

I wear this hat on the river on sections that don't require a helmet or when we are taking a break from a day out in the water. I also wear it on the lake and any other time in the sun. Your head will stay extremely cool even in 90+ degree weather for an extended time. There are men and women options. If you have a small head, get a woman's. If you have a larger head, get the men's.
