Super disappointed by this jacket. I like the style and the color (I got the blue) but the design is not for the typical body so you can't zip it up without it being tight around your hips/upper thighs. The design of the lower half is straight and the waterproof material is not flexible so it doesn't stretch. Most coats also have a seam/flap in the back so longer coats can move as you walk and this does not so it's tight and feels super uncomfortable. I normally wear medium so that's the size I got but I can't go up to a large because the sleeves are already super long on the medium (too long in all honesty). I liked the look of it in the picture but it's completely impractical if you actually have to do anything more than pose for a picture!

It's a treat to find a rain jacket with a trim fit! (Most are bulky, modified ponchos.) I'm very happy with this jacket. It works well and looks great.

This has been my one rain jacket for almost four years while living in rainy Seattle. I have to say my favorite thing about it is the hood - I have such a hard time finding hoods that go over my long neck and insanely thick hair, and the size of this hood coupled with the drawstring has always kept my hair dry. The only sign of wear is in one of the pockets - they're sewn higher up than the bottom of the jacket so that your hands can sit more comfortably. The inner lining of one pocket tore recently but honestly now the pocket is even bigger so I'm not complaining! The jacket is waterproof and I wear it over my puffy jacket to keep warm. Overall highly recommend this jacket :)

I absolutely LOVE this coat! Fashion meets Function! You can unzip from bottom for leg freedom, the pockets are large and zippered, the color is AMAZING - got the dark pink. I got it three days ago and have worn it every single day since.... even if it doesn't rain. LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE!

After reading the past reviews I decided on a medium when I normally wear a small. There’s enough room to wear a shirt and or sweater underneath . The belt keeps it flattering. Nice longish length.

The style is incredibly fashionable and the jacket looks good across body types, but the quality is lacking:
1. It is not lined, and incredibly see-through (so people will see whatever you're wearing underneath, not really the color of the jacket (if you get the light pink/peach one at least).
2. The fabric is checkered/patterned, so the texture and look is not as depicted in the photos
3. The drawstring is shorter than I would like to, so you can't tie a nice bow with it to add extra cuteness
4. It won't really protect you from water- the claim that it is water-resistant is optimistic, I'd recommend only considering water-proof products.
5. Another improvement would be if it was packable and/or windproof.
In short, while I highly appreciate a good-looking jacket, the quality of this one is incredibly lacking and I would recommend you look for other options. I hope Columbia fixes these issues, and I will buy their new version.

I wore it twice, second time in actual rain. Soaking wet all layers of clothing. And now they don't want me to return it! Don't waste your money if your goal is to stay dry.

I got soaking wet wearing this "rain" jacket. The second time wearing this on a walk I got caught in the rain and not only was my jacket soaking wet but everything underneath.

I got XL hoping it would fit as my powder lite coat is snug in an XL. This one is plenty big with lots of room to zip even over hoodies if needed. It's great for warmer months as it's lightweight. I love that it's longer and covers my bum so I can wear with leggings. It has zipper and snaps and belt. (No pit zips.) I'm very pleased with my purchase!

This jacket is awesome. It is lightweight, and has a cute feminine style. I actually ordered up a size bc my arms are long and I have trouble finding jackets with sleeves that are long enough for me. By going up a size I got the length I needed and since the style cinches in at the waist the extra room around the middle is manageable.

This was a very cute coat, comfortable and it fit well . However, I didn't realize it wasn't lined. The fabric is very thin and what you are wearing shows through, especially from behind. I had to return it and will look for a stylish lined rain resistant coat.

Advertised as a rain jacket but does not repel any water, at all. This is a lightweight jacket that does not keep you from getting wet in mist, drizzle or rain. Only purchase if you want to look cute and wet.

I lost my first one so I had to buy it again. It’s lightweight so it’s not too hot, I can roll it up and pack it, and look pretty in it. I’m glad I didn’t have to go looking for a whole another jacket when this one works perfectly well for me.

It's just perfect. When I read the other reviews, I saw that people were having problems with the zipper. A tried and true solution is to rub some lip wax
(ChapStik, Bert's Bees, etc.) on the zipper; works like a charm every time. Just needs a little of that lubricant. Nothing wrong with it.

I adore this coat. Not just it's name. It's light, smart, practical. And it works
on days that are on-again, off-again rain.
I was in a torrential downpour to test the wee coat,
and altho' it's possibly a tad beneath the performance
of a firefighter-wear, it got me home
in mightyfine shape. Highly recommended jacket!!

Such a cute, well-fitting rain jacket/wind breaker! High quality construction, beautiful color and lightweight. Fits true to size yet roomy enough to wear over winter clothes.

Perfect for spring/summer! I needed just an outer shell rain jacket to throw on over my regular clothes for school drop-off and soccer games. I purchased size MEDIUM to ensure plenty of room in the bust to be able to zip it up over sweaters during colder weather. The sleeves are a little long, but it has adjustable cuffs. This way the sleeves are long enough to allow me to raise my arms without the sleeves riding up - the adjustable cuff keeps the sleeves from falling down over my hands. It seems like it rained for 6 months before I actually got this jacket - I've had it 2 weeks and it hasn't rained one bit since!

Lovely rain jacket. I ordered my normal size in Columbia (which is one size up from almost every other brand I buy) and I am able to put layers underneath it. I am only 5'2" and I did not feel like it was too long. I appreciate the double ended zipper and the zippered pockets. The belt gives it a good look and a cute fit. The coat is thin, but I like that and it is warm enough for how I use it. The yellow color that I got is bright and not that see through. We recently had a storm that knocked out power to some and it kept me dry when I had to leave the house. I am very happy with the coat and would recommend it.

I am pleased with my purchase. The fit is true to size and although the trench coat is very lightweight, the material is good quality. My only complaint is when my purchase was delivered it came in a very small package. The coat was folded very small which lead to it being very wrinkled. I had to iron the belt. My suggestion would be to send it in a box or not to fold it so small.

Have used this on and off for a year or so now. I had only used it for light rain, since in the midwest rain can be really cold. Anyways... I recently used this while attending a 5k and once I had completed the walk in moderate/heavy rain I was soaked underneath the raincoat.
Style wise it's a cute jacket.
Length is great.
Thin- you can feel anything through it.

I love the style of this jacket and it's great for spring days. However, it's not suitable for anything more than a very light drizzle. In a moderate rain, the sleeves soak through in under five minutes. The zipper is also tricky at the bottom.

Loved this style coat and have only had the opportunity to wear it a handful of times. This is more like a windbreaker. Don't purchase if you're searching for a water proof or even water resistant coat, water goes right through it.
