Super cute shoe, but didn't work for my little one. Size was very big, I wouldn't mind the extra room because he grows so quickly, but because these are slip ons, they fell off very easily even with the velcro strap.

These are very cute, but because they are slip ons, my grandson seems to trip over them. Maybe they are just a little big for now, but his converse in the same size, but not slip ons seem much better.

Not a fan of this new style. I've been purchasing the slip-ons for my son since he was a year old and have loved them. The pair we just received has zelcro on the side which makes the shoe slip off his foot. They are way too wide now. After three years of loving this show for him, we have to find a new go to shoe. I'm disappointed! We really loved this shoe.

I personally do not like the strap on the side, it makes the shoes way too loose for my toddler. I miss the old style without it.

I wanted to love these. After two days of my daughter wearing them, the glitter on soles were clearly coming off. They looked old after a week. Will not buy again. Not for toddlers.

Was hoping these were made out of the same stretchy material as the adult slip on shoes. My son got blisters on both heels within 15 minutes of running around. Bummer. Had to return them.

I love vans and have quite the collection in my own closet. Wanted to get some for my son! I followed the size chart and they are incredibly too big! Since they're not lace ups there's no way to tighten them and just deal with it. They don't have the B&W checkered in store so I can't exchange them. Either I return and order another pair, and lose out on shipping twice; or put them back and order another pair he can wear now. I got these on sale, so much for that I guess. I'm so disappointed.

These shoes are so big. And they're also so thin look like they're not durable. You can detach from the side but to me that doesn't look good. Hard pass, I'm going to keep them because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning them but I don't really like them for my son. They're kinda ugly not going to lie.

Very pretty shoes but they run big!! My girls are a size 10 I ordered a 9.5 and they are too big. I ordered these last year and they still don't fit after most of the school year wearing Skechers that are all used up now I decided to see if they fit and I had to double there socks on their feet so they can somewhat fit until I can buy them good quality shoes.

Love the look of these shoes and the fact that they are slip-ons. Our son had the checkerboard ultrarange sneakers which he loved and fit his feet perfectly. He outgrew those so we decided to try slip-ons for the summer in one size larger and they were HUGE. His feet are average width - not narrow, but also not super wide, but these were big in the front and the back. Returned for half a size smaller and they were still slipping on and off his feet. I didn't want to go down to the same size of his ultraranges since he outgrew those, so we will go back to the ultraranges, even though they no longer come in checkerboard. :(

Not a fan of the new design. I feel that the support over the top of the foot has been compromised from the new velcro feature and it no longer goes up as high over the top of the foot as they used to. I was a huge fan of the original fit of the slip-ons, but will not be purchasing them again for my little one due to the poor fit.

Unfortunately, these were way too wide for my daughter. Her foot kept slipping out of the shoe and we were forced to return them. The checkerboard pattern is awesome though!

The newish velcro lower cut style is terrible, the shoes stayed on better & looked cuter before. We will not buy Vans until the classic comes back.

I thought the addition of Velcro would improve the overall wearability, but no. No matter what size fits, my kid's heels always slip out. Don't buy!

The openings on the shoes are so big, the Velcro doesn't get them tight enough. The old vans without the Velcro don't have this problem.
Bring back no Velcro for toddlers!

The shoes I received were definitely someone else’s return. The bottoms looked like they had been worn outside and the tops at the toe were dirt stained

I have owned dozens of vans for myself, my husband, and my children, and these are HORRIBLE. I thought I was ordering standard toddler slip ons, but these have Velcro on the side that make them way too loose and wide, and there is no structure at all to the heel. Other slip ons have a hard backing, these are flimsy. They fall right off of my 5-year-old's feet. I'm so disappointed and outside of the return window.

I love the shoes but I can't seem to get the proper size. I followed the sizing instructions and I now have 2 pairs of cute vans that my daughter can not wear they are both too big. My daughter is 12 months and walking like crazy now, I just wanted a cute pair of vans for her to walk in!!!

Shoes are very cute and comfortable for my toddler, but the tongue needs to be a bit wider and Velcro straps longer. The tongue of the shoe seems to narrow to cover foot properly and the straps don't fit all the way across the other side of shoe. No, my son does not have wide feet, all other Vans I have purchased do not have this issue.
