I was looking for shoes to fit over my son’s AFO leg brace, so I ordered the wide and extra wide. The wide shoe is big enough for the AFO and I only have to remove the foot bed insert. Good looking shoe too!

These were a perfect fit for my son who wears AFO braces. They are very durable and comfortable. He is very active and the new balance kids pk888v2 have held up to his running and playing. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

I’ve bought New Balance shoes for my son for years because he has wide feet.

These are the only shoes that fight my special needs son comfortably.
With Down syndrome he has flatter wide feet. They are comfortable on him, made exceptionally well and last a very long time. Extremely great value for the money.
So happy I found Zappos for my little guy to grow up in.

These shoes run true to size, they are very comfortable. I love that they are suede but still have cushion and arch support. I am a women who generally wears a size 5, size 3 kids fits perfectly. Some new balance shoes do run big so I opted for the kids. These shoes are a great affordable sub for the adult 993s. I do wish they made more colors, black/white, Navy/white. I would buy these again. Shipped very quick too.

My toddler has extra width feet. Very difficult to find sneakers that fit. NewBalance has the best selection for XW sneakers, period! During pandemic social restrictions my toddler needed new sneakers, so I had to take a stab in the dark and order online. I misjudged the size twice and had to send them back, which was easy and reorder different size. Customer service called me (unheard of these days) to make sure they knew exactly what I needed and make certain I was a satisfied customer. I ended up with the correct size and model within a week of returning. Exceptional service in these difficult times. Kudos NB team!

My son is very rough on his shoes. New Balance products last longer and are built for comfort. The quality is worth the purchase and are built to last. We will continue to buy him New Balance Products since they last longer then other brands.
