I love Smartwool and wear this Merino 150 Sport hoodie layered over a Merino 150 Sport tee, with a running vest on top and Smartwool socks for running. Smartwool is perfect for the PNW - keeps you warm and dry and yet breathes.

I use this as a hooded sun shirt while backpacking. It's lightweight, breathable, and merino wool is the best for hiking.

Comfortable wear, keeps you on the go!

I ordered an XS and it fits perfect with room to spare. Shirt is a relaxed fit. I weigh 111lb 34A.

The focus for me is on function and warmth at my age. Although the small would have fit perfectly, I bought two sizes M and L to see which fit best over layers and decided to keep both for different weather conditions. The large hoodie is used primarily as an extra layer over a wool sweater and under a coat, and the medium when lighter layer is needed. What the hood part lacks in style it gets in ease of lifting on and off my wood cap when the north winds pick on a long walk. I wish the cuffs fit over my hands though.

I plan to pack this for a light weight extra layer. It should be very packable and is comfortable. The only problem with it is that there is no pocket. This is a comprise I made to get a nice light wool hoodie, but it is an annoying compromise to have to make, so 4 stars instead of 5

I've only taken this on a day hike, but plan on taking it on all my backpacking trips. It was comfy, but a little itchy.

I was doing a long distance hike, needed one shirt that could cover all of my bases. It had to be long sleeve, as I'd be out on the sun a lot and sweating a lot. This shirt was perfect. It was cool in the heat, kept me from getting burned, and when it was really dirty I just smelled like a wet sheep instead of smelling like rotting whatever. My shirt was last years model and had an all-over print instead of accents like the current one. My shirt faded where my backpack straps rested on my shoulders, which is annoying. My other complaint is that I wish it were 1/4 zip instead of a hoodie. I got sunburned on my chest and the back of my neck where this shirt gapped. The hood also gets trapped between my backpack and my back and makes an uncomfortable lump.

I'd love to buy your products for my active field work but they just won't fit. The colors and shapes look great! Please, please, please expand your size range both up and down.
