The length is true to size, but the width around the heel and the opening runs a tiny bit larger than the average boat shoe. These have already become my favorite every day shoes. Not much arch support, but it’s not something I need

Per the advice of other reviewers, unlike the TruSize Fit, I ordered these shoes in multiple sizes expecting the smaller sizes would work for me. I wear a 12 in most athletic shoes and the TruSize chart recommended I purchase a 12. I also wear a 12 in Sperry's, a similar product. I ordered these mocs in an 11, 11.5 and 12. The 11's fit best but are still a bit roomy, particularly in the heel area. The 11's still have about an inch of room in the toe. This is ridiculous in my opinion. There is no way to tighten the fit on the heel. Only the top of the foot can be tightened. These shoes aren't available in a 10.5 for me to try, but I haven't worn that size since probably the 6th grade. These shoes are alarmingly too big. Size issues aside, the shoes are extremely lightweight and quite comfortable. The caramel color is darker in person than online. I actually almost thought I received a greenish color, but the box says caramel. The shoe laces are also darker than pictured and appear reddish in color. I noticed the shoe lace coloring has rubbed off onto the shoe in a couple small areas. I'm wondering if this will become a long term problem. I don't fully understand how these leather shoes are machine washable, and I'm not sure I'd try to wash them, but the description advises doing so! I like these shoes, all issues aside, but I would never consider paying full price for them. At least not with all these issues. The gray color looks very nice and would be an excellent color for Summer wear. If I keep these shoes, I'll have to put heel inserts in them to keep them secure. All in all, I'm just disappointed. The reviews and photos are different from what I've experienced upon receiving these shoes.

Cheaply made and poor quality. BUT, very comfortable and stylish! Will probably only last one season. They should be priced closer to $50.
