Customer Reviews New Balance Kids Fresh Foam Fast (Little Kid/Big Kid)

These shoes are the worst ones that we've purchased. They began to fall apart within a week of having them. One of the shoe laces began to fray the 1st week and is now frayed in several places after only a couple weeks. The shoes look trashy and used. My son has barely worn them. I would never purchase these again.

My son is obsessed with these shoes. He loves the colors and how lightweight they are. He uses them for his Ninja Warrior classes and it helps him with some of the inclines there

***Follow Up Review*** After wearing for less than ONE day a hole started to rip open on the outside of the left shoe. I would have just written it off to him being rough but the red color of the same style ripped in the exact same place also after just ONE time wearing it. Very disappointed - I won't purchase New Balance Kids shoes again.

My son really liked these so we ordered them, but beware while the upper part is mesh, the back heel has a hard plastic that was ultimately too uncomfortable for him.

I'm very disappointed with this shoe. My 9 year old has been wearing them for about 8 weeks, and already already a hole developed on the side of one shoe that is getting larger and the shoe strings on both shoes are falling apart. I can't imagine that my son is harder on his shoes than any other active 9 year old out there. The style is awesome, they are light weight, great color, available in a wide size, son loves them, but I'm not counting on him being able to wear them for very much longer before they fall apart altogether. His previous pair of New Balance were awesome and lasted a long time and he outgrew them before they fell apart. I guess it all depends on the specific style of of shoe from each brand. I've tried them all and the quality is all over the place. I'm getting tired of spending a good amount of money on poor quality kids shoes. I'm attaching a photo of the hole in the shoe (with the new laces I just installed) and the disintegrating shoe laces that I removed.

My son wore these for exactly 1.5 days before wearing a hole through the mesh fabric. Not durable enough for an active boy.

Fit great, hold up really well. Little boys can be hard on shoes and these have really held up. I would definitely order these again.

My 8 year old loves these shoes. He has them in multiple colors. He wears orthotics due to Severs Disease and the wide width is perfect. He loves that they are light weight and easy to get on. They wash well too.

Bought these for my very picky and opinionated 8 year old and he loves them! He wore them outside in the mud this past weekend so they needed to be washed and they held up well - they look brand new again. The blue and gray color hide the dirt well. So far, they are a hit!

These fit my 11 yr old perfectly. He says they are very comfortable and look great on.

These are worn daily by my 6YO and they are holding up wonderfully. No rips or issues. My child says they are comfortable. Would recommend this shoe.

Excellent sneaker for my 9 year old. He is hard on sneakers and these have held up greet. Purchasing the same sneaker in the next size. Great price too! Wide width is true to size and he finds the sneakers very comfortable.

These are really light shoes. My son says they are really comfortable and he thinks they look “cool.” He has Sever’s disease in his heels so he wears orthotics. I purchased the wide size and they comfortably fit them with plenty of room for his feet.

We love NB. They hold up well and are a great fit for a skinny guy with a wide toe box. We've been NB loyal for 5+ years now.

My son loved these right out of the box. He loves how light weight they are & says they are very comfortable.

Comfortable shoe and true to size. The red is too bright and almost pink on the sides when it fades to white. We are getting the blue color instead.

These are my daughters 2nd pair and she loves these shoes. Might be the regular shoe in our house from now on. She wears them to school and pretty much everywhere else. Great for sports and moderate hiking too.

My son is so hard on shoes (aren't they all!) and I'm hoping these will hold up. He wears a 5.5 and they fit perfectly. We liked them so well we just ordered them in red as well.

This is the first Wide shoe we have ordered and it makes a difference for comfort. The tongue and laces cover the top of the foot, and the shoe is easier to get on. The styling is great. Comfort is great. This was for a size 3.5 (boy age 10).

I bought these for my nine year old son who is very picky. He absolutely loves these sneakers! They are light weight and very comfortable. He loves the thick foam.
