I owned one shirt previously and purchased two more prior to going on vacation. Light weight, plenty of pockets for airline tickets, passport, etc. Sleeves roll up. Easy to clean. Perfect for travel, in other words.

My husband is delighted with his birthday gift shirt. Living in an often hot, muggy climate makes this shirt perfect for trail building work or even a casual Friday night out. Thank you Columbia!

I bought a similar large shirt last year and liked it so much that I wanted two more for hiking and biking. The plaid shirt I bought this year is the same model as this solid color shirt, and it fits perfectly. However, this solid shirt is a bit small. It looks good, but I bought it for sports activities, and it is just a bit tight. Regardless, I like the shirt a lot. I love to bike or hike and feel the breeze go right through my shirt to cool me off. Great shirts.

Great shirt! Looks good in a business casual setting. Lightweight, breathable, and comfortable. Im 5"8 and 185lbs, muscular build and I bought a medium. It fits snug on my arms when I first put it on, then after a few minutes loosens up.

I bought a dozen of these for my group that went on a five day backpacking trip. nice and light weight, blocked out the sun, and get the wind at bay when we got wet. sizing ran a touch on the small side.

Large size seems too small and sometimes XL seem to large. This XL fit across my chest good but sleeves were too tight when rolled up. (I do have large upper arms) Thinking maybe I should have got a short sleeve but overall still satisfied.

I bought this too check out whether or not it was a good replacement for my Silver Ridge Lite. I like the fabric but the cut of the arms around the biceps and the shoulders is just too tight for comfort. Would use this shirt for a casual evening out but not for hiking comfort.

I have 8 of the original version, size Large, in a few colors. I just purchased 5 of these 2.0 version, size Large. Similar in style, different in a few ways from the original. Material is different, feels thinner/ lighter. There is a light version of this style and this 2.0 version is a bit heavier than that but not as heavy as the first version. The buttons that hold up the rolled up sleeves are exposed compared to hidden in the original version. The sleeves are also smaller in width, length is about the same, compared to original version. If you have large arms you may want to go up in size possibly. Chest pockets flaps are not closed on the outside as original was. The extra vertical seam on front has been removed. Shirt collar does not have extra sun flap and is made as a regular collar style. The back of the shirt vents have been changed, side vertical vents are larger and open with second layer mesh material spanning across the back. This may help in the summer months of use been a bit cooler. This newer 2.0 version does replace the original and is not a bad replacement. I think the way it's made with changes helps. I use the shirt heavily everyday for work and at times on the weekend. I'm not sure if the newer style of material will hold up as well compared to the feel and texture as the original material. I've had them for a week and possibly it may prove me wrong. If you are looking for a shirt for free flowing light work, take a look at this same shirt in the "light" version, for day to day use this style is the one. Do check your size before ordering multiple for you arm size.

Great quality and love the SPF and lightweight fabric. Bought an XL, just like the short sleeve version, and it runs really small, both in sleeve length and in shoulder fit. Hoping an XLT will work.

Fits well and looks good. I prefer the Silver Ridge Lite style but that doesn't come in all colors so bought this.

This is a great looking shirt. My company's logo looks great embroidered above the pocket. Looks more professional than the PFG style button ups. Has a more "fitted" look instead of a baggy one. Will definitely buy again.

My husband loved the Silver Ridge line of shirts before they all had the big square flap thing on the back. Now we're searching for something that can be worn to work and all year once again.

This shirt runs small. I usually wear a small in the Bahama II fishing shirt. Ordered a medium in the Silver Ridge. Should of ordered a large. If you fly fish, as I do, buy the Bahama II shirt. It is relaxed fit and gives you plenty of room.

The pockets were a weird mesh material and I didn't like that. Wrists are tight and arms seem a little short. More form fitting

I have the older version of this shirt and decided to get a new one. The fabric is thinner, but I actually think it'll be better on hotter days. The chest pockets are mesh inside, not fabric, and that can rub, but if using this for more casual activities, then should be okay. It's trimmer than Columbia's more fishing-oriented shirt. Only real complaint is that the under-arm openings are very tight. Everything about this shirt fits great, but very tight around the armpits. As I ordered online, I'm going to keep it and give it a shot, but had I tried it on in-store, I probably would've taken a pass and looked for something different.

My husband selected this shirt for an upcoming trip. After washing, I still had to iron out the creases from packing. After he wore it once and I washed it again, it require pressing! In fact, the care instructions say "iron low" so it is a non-starter for travel. Too bad because it is an attractive and lightweight shirt.

I purchased this shirt for hot weather outdoor work overseas in which looking professional while wearing appropriate sun, heat, and abrasion protection is important. This shirt functions well for each. It fits true to size, except the sleeves are too narrow at the elbows to roll the sleeves up comfortably while wearing the shirt. Once rolled up, it fits fine. The sleeve loops are very difficult to button/unbutton. Compared to the Silver Ridge shirt, the Silver Ridge 2.0 is an inferior shirt at a higher cost. The fabric is nice, but the chest pockets are not as secure (one Velcro strip instead of two) not as well cut (square edges curl up), exposed sleeve loop button (versus hidden botton on the Silver Ridge), and does not fit as well through the shoulders. For size comparison, I am 6'3", 230 lbs, and ordered 2XL Tall.

While the materials seemed good, I have never worn a more ridiculously large "small" in my life. I'm 5'10" and it came down to my mid thighs. I looked like a kid who'd raided my dad's closet. If I was any shorter, I could have ditched my pants and just worn it as a dress. It hangs like it was sized for someone who is 6'4" and 140 lbs.

I bought this shirt for Costa Rica and Mexico. In Costa Rica as I write. Wore the shirt today for the first time to protect my arms from the sun and found it to be uncomfortably hot. Yes, it is humid here, but not as humid as it can get. The shirt simply does not breathe, despite the venting in the back. It is 100% polyester, so perhaps that explains something.

Had to return this one. medium always fit. This time the chest was tight and the sleeves too short. What is unsettling is that I have to pay for shipping the return

I bought an XL and the sleeves are super tight. The shirt is more like a large maybe. Also, it seems short. I was hoping it would work out, but it appears I need to stick to the PFG shirts.
