The PreCip is a great warm weather rain jacket and shoulder season when worn over a sweater or fleece. I purchased the PreCip to use while traveling and it take very little space in my bag.

I bought 5 different rain jackets from different companies (TNF, Patagonia, Marmot, REI brand and Columbia), and after trying them all on and using them for a little, hands down the Marmot Precip was the winner. Not only did it keep me bone dry during a torrential downpour in Chicago but the wind proofing blocked out the gusts! My phone tucked in the chest pocket didn't have a drop of moisture on it. I love it because of the extra flex the jacket gives when you move around. Overall it was a winner due to the slim fit, stretch and rain/wind protection.

Bought this jacket about 2 months ago. It looks great, keeps the weather off and is super light weight. Great all around rain jacket.

Works great. Keeps the southwestern rain out while not getting overheated on a moderate day. Just what I needed.

Stayed dry in a 1 hour outdoor drizzle.
If you plan to wear anything other than a shirt underneath, I'd order a size or two up. I normally wear a small t-size and medium jacket. This medium jacket was tight on me with a fleece and thin long sleeved shirt underneath. Wish I'd gotten a large.

So incredibly lightweight, and versitile. Not only does it block the wind but any moisture just runs right off it. Used this on an off trail backpack at around 11,000 feet in the Wallaw mnt range and it was superb

Very comfy, light, waterproof jackets for shoulder season, misty weather, and drizzling rain (when taking family dog out for example). I always pack this when traveling. Lightweight, foldable, and so convenient for various occasions.

This Pre Cip jacket is a colorful addition to any outdoor activitiy.
On a rainy day it shields your under layers from moisture while adding a colorful statement. I recommend Marmot Jackets.

Got this for my boyfriend since he doesn't have a rain jacket and he loves it! Shipping took a bit longer than expected but overall very happy with the product.

I bought the PreCip jacket before a trip to Iceland. It worked great in the light rain and persistent wind i encountered. Did a good job as a shell over my fleece and packed away light and small in my pack qhen not needed. I'm 5'9", 185lbs with pretty broad shoulders. The Large fit great!

By far the best wet weather gear for the money and it's a great shell for windy or brisk days.

Second rain jacket from Marmot. Daughter took over first jacket. Bought a size up this time for more room for layering.

I originally got this jacket in an XL and found it too tight to be comfortable layered - I'm 5' 11" and about 230 lbs. The XXL fits well and looks/feels much better whether or not I have bulkier layers underneath. Waterproofing is great, and the botanical green color is very pretty - not an army green at all, more of a forest/tropical green color.
