The material is thicker than most jeans but still a little on the thin side compared to when jeans used to be of higher quality. The fit is good for a woman who is smaller in the waist and bigger in the hips and thighs. I feel like 10 or so years ago, companies all started making women's pants and jeans on the assumption that the wearer is shaped like a 10 year old boy from the hips down. Most jeans on me are too small in the legs and huge in the waist. If you have a body type with a defined waist and your hips and thighs bigger than your waist, these jeans should work for you.

So happy I found these! Thick, non-stretch denim that doesn’t get filmy with wear. A waistband that sits just above my pelvis, so no gapping in the back and needing to pull up constantly. Pockets you can fit your hands in. Button fly. No weird bleached whiskers or tears. Straight legs. Red tag. These are the jeans I’ve been missing since they discontinued them years ago. I don’t know if they are the same as before but they feel familiar and instantly comfortable. I will buy another pair as backup in case they disappear for decades again.

I found these to run small, especially in the waist. I struggled to button them, yet had a good sized gap in the back. I wear a previous version of 100% cotton 501’s for women in the same size and they are my go-to jeans. These have a higher waist than my old 501’s and the fabric is much stiffer. This new version just isn’t comfortable. I am grateful for Zappos easy returns!

Reviews about sizing as well levis sizing is quite confusing. I got 25 and it fits like a glove with some space in the stomach area that make the look little less flattering. No problems putting this on, while it took me 10 mins to try to get into the same size premium wedgie icon fit style (it still cuts my blood circulation after washing). Color is lot darker in person which is always the case here on zappos and quite misleading. Overall these are still levis and good jeans, Im glad I didnt size up, will work on the color by intensive washing :)

I’m 5’9 and like 140 lbs. i am a 26 but sized up to a 27. Tight in the thighs and looks weird because one of the tears is around my widest part of the thigh so some fat comes out. Unflattering. But, a trick i learned in highschool was to get some water on the thighs of the jeans and wear them a little wet until then fabric molds and dries to your shape. Much better. Will be keeping. Also, if you’re tall like me make sure to get these and not the 501 with a 26 inseam

The size of my 501 is perfect. I really like 100% cotton . These are NOT true 501 levi's. The waist is a good two inches higher than the original. they are Mom jeans and the waist is so high and being all cotton and no stretch I can barely bend at the waist. I am soooo disappointed

I wear a size 29 waist but ordered a 30 because they’re rigid. They fit comfortably in the waist and are a bit loose everywhere else. They fit me like a boyfriend jean. I love them. They’re thick and comfortable. They don’t look sloppy. I’m 5’7 145 # 56 years old if that helps. They make my rear look cute!! I know when I wash them they’re going to get even better.

Super cute jeans!! I love the look of them and I've been trying to find some destructed boyfriend-esque jeans and these were perfect!! They ran true to size for me but are a bit stiff so I'm hoping they give out a little bit especially when sitting down but I would definitely recommend these!

These jeans fit VERY small and have absolutely 0 stretch to them. It’s to be expected as they’re true denim. I ordered 3 sizes up from my regular size of a 10. I was willing to order any size to get these to fit! The style is hot, but the sizing is not! Be ready to purchase multiple pairs before finding the size that fits!

The fit of these jeans are very odd. I got my normal size, and they were tight in the thighs and large at the waist. Although these jeans felt tight on, there was a huge gap at the waist. Overall, pretty awkward feeling. Unfortunately, had to return.

I'm a big fan of these jeans- they are old school, actual denim (remember that?) without a lot of stretch. Look very cool and on-trend, color and distressing are accurate to the picture. My teen children keep telling me that my jeans look good- imagine that:).

these are some of my favorite levi’s. the fit is true to normal 501 sizing, and the wash looks like a pair of vintage jeans that have been perfectly worn in.

I love the look of these Levi’s! The wash and distressing is awesome. And they look so cute with a crop top or a big comfy sweatshirt! I’ve bought a few Levi’s so I knew what size to get based on how I wanted these to fit. I’m a 28-29 waist with an athletic build and I’m between a size 27 and 28 in Levi’s. The 27s fit me like a glove (very tight) BUT non-stretch denim eventually molds to your body and will stretch to fit you perfectly, so keep that in mind when choosing your size!

I’m 5’3 135 lbs usually a 6-8 and 29x28 in Levis Wedgie Straight. This pair was smaller in the waist and the 30x30 was a little too long. There was a small hole in the knee area I wasn’t expecting. Otherwise great material!

I couldn't even button these up and the fabric was so stiff and uncomfortable. Had to send them back.

I washed and dried and found them to be too small in the waist. 29"x30" is my usual size I always buy and wear. Upon further inspection, I found the sizing of the jeans were 28"x30" not 29"! Looks like it was a mislabeling thing.

I washed and dried and the fit was perfect! However, a hole formed in the cuff hem in one of the legs. Disappointed in the quality.

Super small in the waist. I'm a size 12 and I ordered a 34 and somehow they still didn't fit. So disappointing.

Look nothing like on the model. These fit very akward and didn't look anything like pictures. I sized up per reviews and these were very unflattering so I returned them.
