I haven't tested in rain yet, but looks great and is super light. I got M and it runs a bit larger than my other MH rain coats. I wish the others where this big though for better layering.
I am not sure if this will withstand heavy rains, but should be good for city and day trips with sudden weather changes.

The jacket is a perfect jacket but I wear a medium and this jacket runs a bit small so the sleeves are a bit too short for me. Order a size larger.

This shell is great. I usually wear a large so got a large and tried it over a Moutain Hardwear puffy jasket (650 fill) and no problems at all. Super comfortable, light, and packs down. When I'm out in the bush, i will officially have no fear of the elements. Highly recommend :)

Hello, I bought this jacket for my son's birthday, and he doesn't like the colour. I am just wondering if it may be possible to trade it for "wild water" blue, or "dark army" green? Although he opened the plastic, he never wore it. Thanks, Steve

Great jacket. Have worn it multiple times now in hard downpours while camping in the mountains, and stayed completely dry. Looks great and nice simple logo on the chest isn't too overkill. I also bring it mountain biking and its super warm on my descents. I'm that weird size where I'm stuck between a L and XL, and the XL fits great.

Great look a must for armpit vents if waterproof and lower breath ability

I love my new Acadia Mens' Large Rain Jacket in Wild Water Blue! Unfortunately, the hood doesn't fit as well as my old Mountain Hard Wear Acadia Mens' Large Rain Jacket. The old hood fit tighter and I had better peripheral vision. The new hood fits looser and blocks my vision a bit. Overall, the colour is amazing and the jacket itself fits well!

Ok first, this is a very, very entry-level rain shell. I've had the entry-level offerings from North Face, Patagonia and HH and they were all superior to this jacket. My main beef though is the sizing. I am 5'8" and 150lbs and the Small is absolutely huge on me. I look like a toddler in their older sibling's clothes. I've never understood why these companies can't make a regular human-sized jacket but, there it is. If you're going to buy this and you're anywhere near my size order an extra small if possible. How 5'8" 150 is extra small I'll never know but caveat emptor.

The item has different graphics and was not as shown. The jacket is as designed but if you don't mind more graphics on the chest and not the simple bolt icon go ahead an purchase. I typically wear a medium and the fit is more of a trim medium but the size purchased is a small.

First day I took it out in the rain I got completely soaked. Wasn't waterproof at all.

My Acadian jacket arrived quickly. But for an outdoor clothing company to ship the jacket wrapped in plastic, inside a plastic envelope, is seriously disappointing.
The jacket looks nice so far, won't know how it performs until the next rainy adventure. But I won't recommend it to anyone else until Mountain Hardwear switches to more environmentally friendly packaging.
