The shoe felt very tight around my toes.

Comfy and a good value. Since I’m planning to put some miles on these I ordered a less popular / less expensive color way. But overall super comfortable. I’ll enjoy these!

I bought these shoes for treadmill running. I like that they are lightweight, yet supportive. Good shoe!

When I got this shoe I was a bit surprised -- it has elastic material inside that attaches the tongue to the sides and you have to fit your foot in and pull the shoe on -- a little like putting on a sock or hose. Also I had to open the laces almost to the bottom to get my foot in. But, once the shoe is on -- it is very comfortable. The soft fabric top fits around your foot and the sole provides good (not great but very good) support. I have to use heel pads and they fit in and with a thin sock it is all very good. I walk in them for exercise and they are fine. You could not put a heavy, thick athletic sock in this shoe. And, because of the very pretty, very white fabric upper I would not be inclined to wear them in bad or wet weather or where they could easily get dirty. But for an every day walking shoe -- terrific.

These felt comfortable when I put my foot in but after 5 mins of wearing them in the house I had a bliste on my toe.

I ordered a b and it was a little too narrow,so returned it for a wide. Theer was really no difference in wide and B, both seemed to narrow.

These were super soft and stylish. Very comfortable overall and good cushion inside the shoe. They are small, I ordered a 1/2 size up and probably could go with a full size up.

Love the shoes but need a 1/2 size bigger. Its been a while since I bought running shoes. Will have to return my 9 and get a 9.5. Didn't need a wide with either.

These are really comfortable. I’m a dog walker so I walk 5+ miles a day and my feet don’t hurt at all at the end of my day with these shoes. The only thing I will say is I ordered the black/castlerock color and I swear it’s dark blue, not black or grey. Still a nice color, just not what I expected at all as I really wanted a black or dark grey color.

I ordered a W width and it was NOT as marked. I think the sizing in this shoe is way off. Going back !!

Comfortable out of the box. I own several pairs of these sneakers and they are always reliably comfy and true to size. My only complaint about this pair is that the gray/black are patterned like winter sweater which is not clear on the website. It’s not obvious unless you are inches away from them but, I don’t love the style of these. If I had had time, I would have returned them for another color. Unfortunately, I really needed a new pair and I’ll just deal with the fact they look like wool socks. Otherwise, they fit great. I use them to teach a fitness class and they hold up well.

Less arch support than I’d like but overall a comfortable basic sneaker. Not as comfortable as my ASICS but I think these are better looking. I got the black and white. I normally wear a 10 but perhaps could have gone with a 9 1/2. The fabric upper is quite stretchy. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would only suggest that if you like a lot of arch support you may want insoles for these.

Cute shoe (though the cashmere color is a little more lilac in person than I had anticipated) and comfortable! So lightweight, I bet they’d be great for Zumba or similar dance class, but otherwise I anticipate using them as more of a casual shoe than a gym shoe (not enough heft to them).

The size of these shoes run a full size smaller; I tried a half size larger but ended needing a full size larger. The stretchy softness of the upper is like wearing a sock and is really comfortable. I sometimes wear a double wide but the stretchy upper accomodated my wide feet and high arch. The insole is removable so I can use my orthotic. I did notice the thickness of the inner sole isn't as much as as my other pair of New Balance 'Fresh Foam' so it's slightly less comfortable with the orthotic. The sole adds structure to the shoe; if you twist or bend the shoe it resists nicely making it work better for your foot. The arch support of the insole isn't enough for my high arch. I like the shoes; they are comfy, cute casual shoe.

Bought these to replace a pair of NB Beacon V1 shoes that I loved. I wear a 7W and this Zante model is not as wide as the Beacon. I kept the Zante, but I don’t love them. I’m going to back to the Beacon which is more comfortable for me.

I have a number of different styles of New Balance including their 'minimal' styles, comfort-foam styles and regular cross trainers. I usually wear a 6 to 6.5 Wide but can wear a regular. I ordered a 6.5 wide in these and they fit really weird - long, not wide and looked oddly shape when laced up. Probably because they are long and narrow? I have no idea but they were weird. I also don't like the interior elastic - it doesn't allow for customizable instep adjustment like most of their other styles. A nice looking shoe before I put my foot in, and a cushy innersole. If you have more slender feet it might be great for you.

The shoes are OK but for someone with high arches I found them hard to get on. Moreover, there is no arch support. The tip is a bit weird Too.

Not as much support as other new balance and little arch support compared to others.

These were very short - I ordered up a 1/2 size but they were still too small compared to other New Balance I've had. They had very little arch support.

I bought a pair of these shoes in April, and in September I am already shopping for new running shoes. Initially I was very happy with them--they are super lightweight and had a nice cushiony feel to them. The sort of sock-like upper did not rub or chafe at all, although the shoe was a little warm. However, by July the tread was starting to wear down and the shoes had little grip on wet pavement. Now the bottoms are almost smooth and I'm experiencing heel pain and twinges in my knee. I have less than 300 miles on this shoe, a portion of which are on the treadmill, which should further extend the life of the shoe. I'm looking now for a shoe with more traditional tread that will hopefully hold up longer.

I have a very wide foot and was hoping the "W" would fit. My foot does fit because of the comfy stretchy fabric, but the bottom my foot still hangs over the bottom of the shoe which is not a good fit especially for exercising. Also, the toe box has a weird inward curve to it.

Nice New Balance shoe but do not like the inner elastic tied to the shoe tongue, it was too tight. I'd prefer more arch support and softer bottom. Thank you Zappos!! I'll try another style of sneaker!

In the search for a new walking shoe.. Never have worn NB but this was a contender. Just not a good fit. My foot rocks back.. went with brooks

Love the color and styling of this shoe, but it is way too narrow in the mid-foot and especially in the toe box, and I got a wide width. Insole feels cushiony but definitely will not work for people with a high instep or those who require a rounded or roomy toe box. Darn, I really wanted these to be comfortable. Thanks for an easy return, Zappos.
