These are excellent for slippery conditions and general wear. They look better than leather boat shoes (in my opinion) and they're versatile enough to be worn with a wider variety of clothingwhich is good when when you're not sure what you'll be getting up to. They're also far classier than athletic-style shoes...win-win!
