I bought this jacket because I am an outdoor tour guide at my college and we get some pretty heavy downpours all the time. I was looking for a jacket that was lightweight and thin as the weather is unpredictable and warm usually. This jacket met all my needs and exceeded them! I love that it covers my hind end very well and the hood stays up even if it is windy and rainy. I bought a size larger than what I usually buy so that I could layer up underneath if it gets cold or just wear a sweatshirt (cause I love sweatshirts). It repels the rain very well and haven't gotten a drop of rain on me since wearing it. It folds up really nicely and looks very sharp even after I take it out of my backpack. Definitely worth the price! Also has long enough sleeves which I loved because I have long arms and finding a long enough sleeved coat is hard!!

Great! Love the fitted cut, the longer back (just enough to cover my hiney but not as long as a traditional parka), zipper pockets, weight, mesh lining, & stowable hood. I’ll admit I HATED the Velcro on the storm flap (nasty shirt and scarf snags waiting to happen!) but *easy* to cleanly remove with a seam ripper, and can report the flap still lays flat without it. I’m 5’3”, 108, 34/27/36 straight figure and size S is perfect (as is, and also allowing for a fleece/wool/soft shell layer under). The grey is a really nice medium grey. Will be excellent for my PNW home and for travel.

Runs small, need to return small for a medium in order to wear layers underneath

I have 2 of the original Resolve Parka and wear them all the time. I just got the new version. This new and improved Resolve II doesn't fit as well. It has side elastic, whereas the original has it across the back. That nipped in the waist better, and it was a more flattering look. Also, the Resolve II does not have the 2-way zipper, which makes it easier to sit in the car. The original has a 2-way zipper. If it's not broke . . . don't fix it.

Due to COVID, the whole family is getting 10K a day with daily walks. No need to shelter inside on rain days now.

Perfect fit! Lightweight, flattering and repels water. Exceeds expectations. I’m am 5’8, 140 Ibs and I ordered a medium. Roomy enough to wear a light hoody underneath if needed. Very quick delivery, I ordered on a Friday afternoon , received Sunday afternoon and I didn’t pay extra for shipping. Awesome shopping experience.

I really love this jacket. I am 5'4, 130 lbs. I typically am either a small or medium. I went with the medium for this jacket. I really love the color of it. It's super lightweight feminine fit. It does keep me dry from the rain and wet weather!

This is my favorite jacket! It's light weight and work well for morning walks. I've worn it in the rain. It kept me dry. It's easy to wash. I love the hood because it keeps my head warm. I love that it covers the backside. I'm thinking about purchasing in more colors.

Absolutely STUNNING Jacket! Love love love the color (taupe green)! Great fit! It is really just a shell though so don't expect any warmth other than wind breaking, which is fine for us Californians. Would definitely buy again. 5'5" and 110lbs and got the XS to have a nice fitted look.

My primary purpose of this jacket was a 75 hard challenge I took on forcing me to get a 45 minute outdoor excerise in everyday for 75 days so this jacket allows me to do that in all weather elements now. I normally wear an XS but sized up to S and able to put all my thermal layers on underneath. Love how i can put warm sweat wicking stocking cap on under this hood that cinches and keeps me dry and no wind now coming through my stocking cap anymore.

I use it for when I go to work and when I go to an from the store. I also wear it with my other hoodies so I it can make it extra warm to wear. I also like that it has pockets because I tend to lose my money or keys in my pockets or ill forget i have pockets.

I had this rain jacket before but my new pup recently ripped my old one. Was so glad this is still a product that north face Carrie's. I've loved this jacket for the past 3 years I've owned it and was definitely in need of a new one. This is definitely my go to jacket and I wear it in high wind conditions as well. Would highly recommend this jacket to anyone.

I love the fit and it is very comfortable. It is not bulky and it keeps the rain and wind out. It is easy to add layers underneath for warmth. I leave the jacket in my car for multipurpose use and I have packed it in my bag.

I needed a truly waterproof jacket for a trip to Iceland during the rainy season and this jacket was amazing! The best purchase I made for my trip. Fits great, keeps wind water out.

Great comfortable jacket. I like that the hood can been tucked away. Sleeves are a little tight but not enough I felt the need to size up.

This jacket is perfect for the rain! Or cold with a layer under. I am typically a small, but I sized up to a medium for room for an extra layer. Without the layer, it still fits great, not baggy or oversized at all. The best part of this jacket, the color ... I got the pink color.

I wore this jacket on the north shore of Minnesota and it was great for blocking the wind and light rain! The fit also flatters the body. This is a great lightweight jacket that matches with anything!
