Customer Reviews Tumi Merge Wheeled Duffel Packing Case

This is my second Tumi duffel, and I chose it to replace my larger 20+ year-old Tumi duffel. This bag is pretty near perfect; it's spacious, compact, sturdy, good looking, and maneuvers easily and smoothly. The bag is a work horse and fits many compression-type packing cubes, shoes, boots, hanging toiletry bag, etc. My one critical comment is that the smaller exterior zippered compartments cannot be locked, so nothing valuable should be packed in these three pockets (for airline travel). After a two-week trip to Asia with this bag, I’m satisfied that I made the right choice.

Awesome Tumi bag, easily a weeks worth of clothes with a couple pairs of shoes. Wish it would’ve came with a second TSA lock for bottom zippered compartment. Always great quality from Tumi.

Great bag and it proved its worth on a recent two-week trip to Asia. Duffel style allows for easy packing (I used several compression cubes). Fully loaded, it's easy to wheel and maneuver. I like the option to access through top zipper or to unzip in the middle--both access points can be secured with a lock, or with cable ties. The exterior pockets are practical, but I will pack nothing valuable in them because they cannot be secured/locked. I love this Tumi duffel, it replaces a decades-old Tumi duffel that I loved.
