PRO: 1) very cool looking (like shimmering, rainbowy oil slick) 2) very comfortable (the air cushion is great, does not feel as heavy as other Doc Martens) 3) convenient design (the side zip makes getting on and off easy) CON: 1) I returned them because they are so SQUEAKY. I don’t believe the squeaking will diminish with wear. I believe it’s a design issue, rather than the leather just needing to be broken in. 2) I don’t know how durable the material is. Like I said, these feel much lighter than other Doc Martens I have owned in the past. The leather is much thinner, and the sole is not quite the same hardy material.

So, the oil slick rainbow is awesome--tons of compliments on these. I'm usually wear 8.5 and UK6 / 39 was exactly my size, though you might prefer to wear these loose, I could have gone up to 40 since the laces adjust and they are high but my toes are not touching, so really are right size. I definitely have to nreak these in, like another reviewer mentioned there was some squeaking, but it's going away as they are breaking in.

Sizing was spot on, these boots are heavy like most other Dr.Martens but still remain super comfy.

I chose a size 7 based off my other docs and these were too small! I was pretty surprised. For reference I’m usually between a 7.5 and an 8. These are beautiful shoes but I ultimately ended up returning them because they were kinda clunky and uncomfortable. I wish I had liked these more!

The design with the zipper on the side and style were amazing, I am a size 8.5 so I purchased the smallest they had which is a size 9 women's. Usually, I have to go 1/2 up if a shoe or boot only offers full sizes. I was very disappointed when the boots were so big that even with a thick pair of socks they were waayyyyy too big. I will try to purchase them again elsewhere as Zappo's doesn't offer anything smaller.
