I’m on my feet most of the day (standing and some walking) on hard floors. These insoles are okay, but not great for me. I need a little more cushion. The arch support is decent, but again I feel like I need just a little more.

I have almost flat, over pronating feet. I have had custom orthotics and have tried most of the OTC inserts. Superfeet blue inserts came close to being perfect for my feet until I discovered Oboz O-Fit insoles. These are just perfect. They hit my arch in just the right place. Inserts are very personal and these are the best fit for my feet. I wear woman's 8 1/2 shoe size.

Awesome support relieved my plantar fasciitis immediately. Ordering more for various shoes.

Best insole for the money in my opinion. Tried Superfeet and several others and these were the best by far. Deep heel cup that works well with boots, but have several pairs in tennis shoes as well.

Could be a little cushier. But they are a big help. (I have two new knees.) I am using them in the Keen boots.

If you are looking to replacing the original insole in a hiking shoe or hiking boot because the original insole has become worn down, this is probably a good choice. Overall, you will still feel the trail about as much as you did when your shoes were new. It won't make you suddenly feel that you are walking on squishy foam. The black area you see on the bottom of the insole is fairly rigid, so it will probably offer more arch support than you originally had, and the two oval shaped areas marked "poron" presumably offer more durable cushioning (since it is placed in the areas where the insole usually wears down the most). You may need to switch to a slightly thinner sock to have space for your foot in the shoe after inserting this insole. For me the best thing about this purchase was that I did NOT need to trim the insole at all. It had an identical footprint to the original Ortholite insole that came in my size 11 Salomon X Ultra 3 hiking shoes. Interestingly, the Ortholite insole was marked US men's 9.5 to 10.5 on its bottom. This Oboz insole is marked US men's 10-11.
Bottom line: if you want a convenient replacement insole for hiking without having to use scissors, and you're not looking for an insole to solve foot problems, this is a good choice.
