Everything about this shoe is perfect. I have worn Dansko for years but not every style fits me the same. I am a perfect 39 in the clogs but with the shoes and the sandals, 39s can be too large and 38s too small. In fact, I just returned a Dansko sandal (Maci) because neither size fit. I also find that some of the sandals are cut in a way that dig into my feet. But this pair was PERFECT. The 39 was exactly right for my toes and heels, the cut fit my foot perfectly, the amount of support is just what I need AND they are really nice looking on my feet. I was hesitant to buy them because the "buckle" adjustment is really a velcro strap and I normally hate the look of those, but I honestly can't tell on these.

This is a Dansko disappointment. I have 4 pair of Danskos, and love all of them. All are different styles, Sophie (sandal), Olive (oxford), Tamara (clog), and another sandal whose name escapes me. These shoes are not up to par with the others. The leather (I ordered black) felt stiff and cheap; the shoe was on the heavy side; the lining felt like fabric rather than suede or microfiber (I don't know what is because the description doesn't say, but it seemed like the kind of cheap material that would start to have an unpleasant odor after just one season); there was very little flexibility or cushioning; and they did not offer anything close to the comfort of they typical Dansko shoe. The style is very cute, and the velcro closures are great for fitting a variety of feet. I love that they are concealed under a buckle. Velcro is not attractive! Unfortunately, that's the only redeeming quality. There is nothing great about this shoe, and at this price point, an average shoe is unacceptable. I expect more from Dansko.

These are very cute sandals. The brown color is perfect. The velcro straps are a plus, giving a customized fit. Unfortunately they are not cushioned enough for my needs. The arch support is not as aggressive as Dansko shoes typically are. I'm afraid these are going back for that reason. I'm so grateful to Zappos for accommodating high maintenance feet like mine with their generous shipping policies.

Hey Dansko- what happened to your arch support!!!! Please bring it back.

My old dependable Clarks sandals died after ten steadfast years. I bought many pairs of sandals to replace my broken heart. Two years of searching for the same quality and comfort left me bereft, empty. And then these. These popped up in my search and I decided to take the plunge. A little sandal-shy and suffering from previous buyer’s remorse I was wary of yet another disappointment. Ohhhhh, baby. These sandals are perfect. The fit, the comfort, the construction. All perfect. I am now looking forward to wearing these. I have found my perfect sandal again.

Size was fine, but the toe box was too narrow for me, The leather felt fake, but I liked the velcro on the straps and the buckle was a nice touch.

Great for medium to narrow feel. Other slip on buckle sandals like Mephistos, Naot and especially Birkenstock’s stretch out fairly quickly. the Velcro fasteners adjust for an exact fit.

I had to return these shoes. They are very cute, but did not have enough arch support for me.

I own several pairs of Dansko sandals and love them all. This sandal however doesn’t measure up. There is really no arch support.

Love the style of these sandals. Happy to have a low heel Dansko option. Been wearing Dansko for many years and I'd say the fit is very true to classic Dansko sizing. And Velcro straps made for a perfectly secure feel. Buckles hid Velcro. Yay! Support was OK but perhaps less than traditional Dansko. And the sole is the most flexible of any Dansko I've tried. I wear Dansko because of a foot problem. Whether it is the support or flexibility difference, I found these sandals didn't provide what I need to avoid foot pain. Sadly I must return them.

The fit and size were great. But these shoes have a major design flaw. The straps across the top of the foot are adjustable using velcro, which at first I thought was genius. But making the straps looser resulted in velcro on the underside of the strap becoming exposed, and hence rubbing the top of my foot. Which was too uncomfortable to tolerate. Totally like the shoe and the fit, but had to send them back because of this.

If there was any arch support at all I would have kept these shoes.

These shoes are really cute and built very well but there is NOT arch support so I had to return them.

I wanted to love these sandals but just can’t keep them. No matter how I adjust the Velcro strap, it cuts into my feet.

Overall perfect sandal. Soft leather & footbed. Great support. Exactly what I was looking for in a slip on sandal!

I love Danskos! They are my go-to -work shoes. I am on my feet and/or walking a good portion of the day and Danskos support my feet comfortably. And they a great value—i know how much money I’ve wasted on cheap shoes; Danskos last! Just get the shoes!

These sandals are perfect for my plantar fasciitis. They are supportive in the right place and comfortable.

I've had my eye on these shoes for many months and finally ordered when price was reduced. 38 was a perfect fit. Velcro allows slight adjustment in width and comfort. Who knew red could be neutral? This shade of red is just that. A nice subdued shade that goes with most anything. Workmanship on these shoes is superb and quality of materials first rate.

I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes. The 39 fit me perfectly. The footbed is soft and comfortable, with great arch support. They are cute and super comfy.

I like the Velcro strap vs the buckle.
