As usual with Frye these are well made. My issue was their are just heavier than Im used to and needed a boot to also easily travel with. Ive owned several Frye boots and would consider again this just wasnt best fit

The chukka is heavy and stiff. The laces were almost impossible to loosen or tighten. I had to buy new ones. Laces did not seem to fit the product. The sole is also very stiff. Possibly loosen up with wear. I have 3 pair of Frye products before this purchase and have been buying From you since the mid 70s. This pair of chukkas have been a challenge and expensive.

Had my Bowery boots for several years now. Sole is finally needing replacement. The question is resole or buy new. Decision decision.

Great fit, solid upper and sole, a bit heavy, but not a fan of the vibram tread inlay.

They have sent me a completely different shoes, different color, different material. I absolutely dont recommend doing business with this company. I know I wont. On top of everything, they dont have exchange policy. In order to exchange shoes you have to ship the ones that dont fit back and buy a new pair, and they deduct $12 for shipping. Btw, sizes run 1-2 numbers big.

I placed an order for the Bowery Chuka Cognac suede leather shoes and eagerly waited for them to arrive. It was my first time dealing with Frye, and I had high hopes for my purchase. However, after a week of waiting, I was shocked and disappointed to receive a pair of shoes that were completely different from what I had ordered. The shoes had brown leather and a different type of sole, which was not what I had expected or wanted.
When I contacted Frye's customer service, they argued with me for 30 minutes, insisting that the shoes were correct. Despite my protests, they refused to acknowledge their mistake until after a lengthy discussion. They eventually agreed to allow me to return the shoes, but I was required to pay a $12return fee, which I found unfair and frustrating.
This experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with Frye's customer service, and I no longer trust their e-commerce service. I would not recommend this company to others and am disappointed by their lack of customer support. my order # was 806007 if someone who care want to check, so sad.

Absolutely love the shoe. Have learned to buy a size smaller with Frye. I'm normally a men's 9, but mee's 8 fits perfectly with the last 2 pair of Frye's I bought, including these Chukka.

My 3rd pair of Frye's- rock solid construction and style for miles. Glad I listened to reviews on sizing- I normally wear a 9 1/2 in boots, but I sized down to a 9 and they fit perfect!
