I wear a size 9 in jeans so I figured I should get a size 10... wrong! I should have stuck with what they suggested, which was a 12. Trust them! They know what they are doing! Lol

I love these pants! They were exactly what I needed for hiking!

I will use these pants for hiking and they have nice pockets! Can wear them long or snap into capris good for beach walking

I haven't been able to use them right now, but I will be wearing them when I go hiking or walking.

I love these pants so much, I bought every color!! Only downside for me is that the left side leg pocket doesn't lay flat.

Having been to Everest Base Camp with 'kind-of' the right clothing, the necessity of investing in quality essentials became evident very quickly. From now on, it's North Face all the way for me! The fabrics, the craftsmanship and the protection are all top quality - guaranteed satisfaction.

This is my second pair, I liked them so much I had to get another color. Awesome pants to take my dog hiking and also wearing around town. Totally Comfy!!!

I work at a climbing wall and ropes challenge course in Central NY. These pants are comfortable, light weight and will dry quickly when it snows and rains. I can also wear leggings underneath and layer. Love the fit! So comfortable!

Excited to give these hiking pants to my daughter for Christmas. My daughter, the hiker and one who walks/runs with her dog twice a day everyday, will really enjoy these pants during cool and cold days of fall and winter and perhaps spring!

These pants are absolutely amazing! They're lightweight and stand up to the mud and rocks from hiking and primitive camping. Also, they fit like a dream! Ladies, listen up! Waist gap be gone! I have never before had a pair of pants fit both my hips/thighs AND my waist! Incredible! I might buy 20 pairs just to wear to work!

I can't say enough good things about these pants. I bought in 3 different colors so I can wear them more often! I wear them hiking, climbing, or just running errands on the weekends. Love!!

I used these pants for traveling. The pockets were perfect for holding items that I needed quick access to and the pants were nice enough to look great with a cute top. They have just the right amount of stretch for comfort. My daughter got some too and tells me they're her favorite hiking pants now.

I will use these pants for everyday wear especially for hiking.

I had a version of these pants from 2011 that have grown tight over the years and I am very happy with the updated version. I love the navy color, they are comfortable and lightweight. I plan to use them for hiking and casual everyday wear. I am 5'3" 120lbs and went with a size 6, which is a larger size for me but they fit well. I'll update the review if the material doesn't hold up as well as my first pair!

Love these hiking pants! Comfortable! Followed size chart but thought they may arrive a little big. Usually wear a 0 but size chart said a 2. Purchased the 2 and able to wear a base layer for cold weather underneath comfortably. Find NorthFace products true to their sizing charts every time!

Ok apologizing this is actually my third review of this product. First time was for style, second time was my second pair and the fits were inconsistent. But thought it important to note how they stood up for the purpose I bought them: a hiking trip in Scotland. After wearing both pairs multiple times, the size difference didn't seem as noticeable - I think because they both tend to stretch out while wearing them. Not bad enough to need a belt (don't like wearing a belt on the trail all day when you already have backpack etc), but did need to pull them up occasionally. I also ended up wearing these at a music festival later and overall I am super pleased with these pants. They definitely held up on the trail, crawling around on rocks etc., and I felt good in them.

I am 5' 3", 115 lbs so I ordered the size 6 short. Pants still about an inch too long but easy to hem. I am taking these pants on a trip that will involve some hiking and I think they are going to be perfect. They will dry quickly if I need to wash them out in the hotel sink. They look nice enough that I can wear them out to dinner. The style is very flattering.

Bought these to hike Rocky Mountain National Park - they were great. Great mobility, loved the pockets, breathable - I will be ordering another pair. They were cute enough to go to dinner after and felt comfortable

I went by the size charts and got a size 6 in the short inseam and they fit great - I'm 5'2 so I'm happy these aren't too long or too short. They're really comfortable and look good for wearing around as casual wear, and they worked out great for some trail hiking I wore them for. Looking forward to wearing these more now that fall weather is on it's way.

So glad to find this pant which fits as a high rise.
