I've been searching for a light colored jean short and this color is it. Not only are the a nice color they are a stretchy fit so they're beyond comfy. I think the other colors (same short name) don't have the stretch. I'm 5'8" 147 lbs and I like a loose fit so I typically order a 10 in this short however this color I had to return it for an 8. Maui 4" Short - Blue Tide.

So soft and comfortable. They have the perfect amount of stretch and coverage.

These shorts run very small. I ordered the denim skirt same size I always wear 4, it fit great. These shorts I couldnt even pull up all the way. Maybe a mistagged item?

These are my favorite shorts. I have a pair in the core version that I bought years ago. So happy to add a Jean version.

These are a really comfortable short. I've got a short athletic (large thighs) build and got these in a size 8. I'm usually a 4 or 6 depending on fit, but didn't want a tight fitting short. For reference, I also got the Oahu Butter shorts in a size 8 and the Oahu Cloud shorts in a 6 and love the fit of all of them.

These are so comfortable and flattering. The fabric feels like Ive been wearing them for years - worn in and soft - the way I love denim to feel.

These fit true to size and are great quality. I love the color.

These are my go to shorts, have it in several colors, but the denim are perfect. Comfortable, true to size, extremely cute and flattering. You need these shorts!

My second pair of Maui shorts (also have in white). LOVE these shorts! At age 48, can't pull off the cut-offs that my daughter wears. These look cool, but still provide coverage. My only wish is that they came in a 00 for more Petite builds. I keep having to purchase size 0 and then pay to have the waist nipped in. But worth it. Super comfy fabric, just the right amount of stretch, and just the right amount of distressing.

When I tried them on they fit pretty well. However as I wore them in the day the stretched A LOT. Im going to see what happens once I wash them.

Love these shorts, worth the high price for denim cut off shorts. So comfortable, feels like you are wearing soft cotton shorts, not binding and yet looks so flattering!

I love these shorts. I have them in three colors now. I love that they fit my body and they are stretchy and comfortable. I pull them on in the morning and never think about them again. There is no tugging or pinching or adjusting. They are perfect for me.

Finding shorts in the right length, cut, and fit is difficult. These shorts were perfect and very comfortable. I will be ordering more in different colors.

I just bought these shorts in 3 colors. Love them. Darker blue and white fit great. The light blue ran smaller and had to size up.

I loved everything Ive gotten from carve, including the style of shorts, but out of the three pairs I got one pair was sewed completely way off, and the size was way different so I wasnt too thrilled about that.

Not at all impressed with the shorts. They are very stretchy and they dont have a waist, so after a few hours of wear theyre falling down. Im just not at all happy with them at this price point I really expected a better product. Ill be wearing these for gardening and yard work only. I am 54 and weigh 115. I order a 2 and it fits as it should.

The 6 length is so comfortable. Frantic isnt so stretchy that Im pulling them up every two minutes.

Well made and awesome color. Just not the cut I was looking for. Cant fault the item for this. I prefer my items with a little more room, these would be better on a straight figure versus a curvy figure. The photo of the model make these seem like a Jean version of Oahu, but being a fan of the original I would have to say these do not fit the same and are a slimmer cut.

These are exactly what you hope for in a jean short. Fit is great, material appears to be durable, coloring is exactly as pictured. Have them in an 8 and a 10 depending if I want fit or baggy.

Unfortunately Carve's sizing is all over the map these days. I tried two 8's and two 10's. All but one 8 were too small. That's right, the 10's were smaller than the 8 in the exact same SKU.

These shorts are very comfortable!
