These are so comfy and flattering! I wasn't sure how I'd feel wearing shorts instead of a traditional bottom but these are great. The inner liner fits well and the sizing is true.

I was worried the fabric would be shimmery but it’s not, plain black, exactly what I was looking for, to match it with a few tops I already own. When I unpacked them, I thought they are too short, but trying them on, I really love them, super flattering and comfortable. I am a 5,3 and little under 120 lbs and the XS fits me alright. I could have gone for S for an even more relaxed fit.

It looks good as it is on the photo. Very comfy.

Have these in Perla and love them. Fit true to size, ordered a M and I'm pretty solidly a size 10 with hourglass shape (used the fit tool). Back to order in more colors. On ordering the Mariposa Shore color it says runs big and size down, will try that and hope it's as accurate as the fit predictor. Hard to find swim shorts with a built in panty, let alone one this smooth. No low on the thigh weird full brief panty, more like a running short liner.

They were ok, a bit too short for my body and just not quite right. Found something better elsewhere, so will be returning them.

These are huge. They are too long.

Runs a little big. The liner is killer uncomfortable. Uses rubber strips instead of elastic. Think blisters. Guys shorts would never do this. If they fixed the liner it would be perfect.

I have a the Hoku swim skirt by Carve that I purchased last year. LOVE it. Thought this short style was cute and liked the coral & navy stripe. The outer short & wide waistband were great. However, the inner brief had grippy elastic all around the legs. Like what you would find on a strapless bra to keep it from sliding down. Obviously this is supposed to help keep the brief in place but it was very uncomfortable. Super uncomfortable and I don't think it needed it. There was plenty of coverage with the outer short, no worries of the inner brief riding up. The Hoku skirt I bought last year does not have the grippy brief and it's the same kind of idea. Wish that design feature was different. It is cute and I loved the little pockets. No way could I stand wearing that though.

Carve Designs Lorenzo Swim Shorts Sporty with good coverage, and she liked the internal liner. They look a little more form fitting in the front (in a good way) and have just a bit of room in the back (not skin tight). They did run a bit large; a medium fit best in most of the others and the small was perfect in these Background - My wife (42/sporty/5.00/125ish lbs) asked for help looking for a new 2 piece. Her goto swim shorts have been the Speedo Women's Guard Endurance Lite Swim Short (avail. On Amazon). She wanted something in which she could be active (swim, paddleboard, etc) and she is both sporty and semi-modest. Thank you Zappos for being so awesome. You again made a shopping experience that my wife was dreading into a comfortable one before vacation. I will add a quick review for all and try to pull the relevant one up to the top of the list for each item. Winner = Carve Designs Lorenzo Swim Shorts Runners up = Roxy Endless Summer Boardshorts These might have been the cutest on her. She also loved the comfort. She was worried that the fold-over waist would not stay in place with highly active situations. She considered keeping just for general purpose / lounging and they looked fantastic on her. They did not have an inner liner if that is a problem. Roxy To Dye 2" Boardshort Some said these were too short, and they looked great on my wife, short and in no way scandalous. I would have encouraged her to keep them if the Carve Lorenzo wasn’t just a bit above. My wife like the waistband on the Lorenzo versus these. She said these shorts were comfortable. Losers Carve Designs Barbados Swim Shorts The ruching just didn’t look right, and she said you they weren’t that comfortable.

Great fit, nice look, comfortable. Just what I needed.

Haven't worn em out yet but they seem great. They are flattering, not too long or short. Sturdy material, inner lining feels like it will stay put without you knowing it's there. #Sweepstakes

This is a wonderful swim short. My first try at the size was too big, so I returned and ordered both black and this print. The fabric is perfect in that it's not flimsy and I love that is has pockets!!! Can't wait for the summer to arrive...still a little too cold in Pennsylvania.

Love the fit!

My daughter wears a Medium but in the water needed a size Small in these shorts. She loves them once we swapped sizes.

Still deciding- I think a small would be too small, but the medium seems too big. It's great for beach walking, but is too big for swimming- it feels like it slides down, and is too much drag. I wish there was a drawstring. I do love the style and it's super easy to wear.
