Fit and size was good. Boots from the heel up are gorgeous BUT...I just could not get used to the heel. It's huge. It extends out beyond the curve of the back of the book and is "cut in" up above the sole. Maybe it's a style thing. It's such an elegant (and not inexpensive...) boot but the heel looks like someone made a mistake and put the wrong heel on it. Like a paperweight. It kills me to return them but those heels! Ugh. Maybe I missed too many runway shows in Paris but...that heel!

These boots are very nice looking. Unfortunately they are narrow for even the average medium foot.

I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 so I ordered both. The 7.5 fit me nicely and I returned the 8’s. Slightly edgy look to the bootie that I know I will get a lot of use out of in the years to come! Soft leather, slightly stiff ankle that will soften with wear. Keepers!! Great price too!

The boots are gorgeous. Thank goodness I have narrow feet because on one the zipper just about went up. The are super comfy but I may just take them in to have them stretched just a bit. The quality of the leather is fantastic.

I love these boots. I was on the hunt for a flat leopard print boot and had no luck finding one in my size, and then I stumbled upon this boot. The heel was a little higher than I originally wanted, but I thought I'd try them, and I'm glad I did. The heel looks higher than it actually feels when wearing the boot. They are comfortable to walk in and I have gotten many compliments on them in the short time I've had them. They look great with boot-cut jeans! Highly recommend!

These boots are beautiful. The leather is wonderful. I would definitely buy them again.

It's almost impossible to go wrong with Pliners. A few years ago their quality seemed to have slipped a bit, but they seem to be right back on track. These are the only shoes I had on a recent 4-day mini vacation that involved a moderate amount of walking and shopping and my feet were fine the entire time. They don't have any extra padding in the footbed, but the Pliner overall fit allows for 16 hours of comfort 4 days in a row.

Comfortable, low/mid-heel boot. The leather is tight at first but loosens up just the right amount during the first wear. The style is subtly unique and works especially well for me with ankle jeans/pants. 7.5 fit true to size, after a short break-in period.

Unlike one of the previous reviewers, I did not find the heel on this shoe to be too exaggerated. It is chunky, but not extreme, but I did find the heel a little narrower than I expected. Again, it was not so uncomfortable that the fit was a dealbreaker, but it is narrower than expected. The style is nice and streamlined, and the blue is so dark that it's almost black. Overall, it's a very nice shoe!

These boots have moderate support and are a perfect heel height. While slightly narrow for a M, my foot runs narrow so they’re perfect.

These boots run narrow, which was good for me. Out of 7 pairs of boots, this is the only pair that was a good fit in the heels; I was slipping in all the others. However, I could not get used to that huge zipper on the outer foot, very industrial looking and detracts from the elegance of the boot. How I wish they made this with a regular zipper on the inner ankle!

Darling boots but had to return. As others have commented, Pliners are usually very comfortable shoes/boots. This pair pinched in a lot of places... the heel, all around the top. I felt like I needed a good pad in the ball of the foot area to keep from sliding forward, but - because these boots are a fairly tight fit already - not much room. The suede would probably have stretched, but I didn't want to have to go through a big break in period on such an expensive boot. Wanted to wear comfortably right away to lots of holiday events. Bummed as they are such a elegant boot with a beautiful stacked heel and almond toe shape. I wear a size 8 /12, and the 8 1/2 in length was great.
